Tyrese Rock on bro!
I watched this movie a few weeks ago and everyone(including myself) who was watching was glued to the t.v the whole time. Even had my sister who was cooking in & out of the kitchen. This movie is sooo action packed you have to see it to believe it! The graphics are excellent!(wait til you see "The Game" cut the guys arm off). Tyrese(sexy thang) plays an exceptionally good father role anyways, so his character is well fit. It's not a dull moment anywhere in the movie so I won't tell you the movie content like others have(this is not "movie spoiler!). Waist Deep(2006) Tyrese Gibson, Meagan Good
I always wanted to see this movie, and was pleased to see that although it has it's usual derivative gangster-gone-good stereotypes and analogies, it's basic premise of a father willing to risk everything for his son, and a mother looking for retribution after losing her son(not her fault, but she doesn't think so), the modern-day Bonnie and Clyde storyline plays quite well in today's climate. Tyrese gives a really great performance as a former hustler, and Meagan Good performs quite nicely after you get past the initial foul-mouthed, disadvantaged, victimized hustlin' chick at the beginning of the movie. She rectifies the earlier acts with some excellent acting, portraying the selfless side of her "CoCo" persona by risking everything for a man she barely ... I always wanted to see this movie, and was pleased to see that although it has it's usual derivative gangster-gone-good stereotypes and analogies, it's basic premise of a father willing to risk everything for his son, and a mother looking for retribution after losing her son(not her fault, but she doesn't think so), the modern-day Bonnie and Clyde storyline plays quite well in today's climate. Tyrese gives a really great performance as a former hustler, and Meagan Good performs quite nicely after you get past the initial foul-mouthed, disadvantaged, victimized hustlin' chick at the beginning of the movie. She rectifies the earlier acts with some excellent acting, portraying the selfless side of her "CoCo" persona by risking everything for a man she barely knows, because he embodies ideals and principles she yearns to be associated with, but doesn't see in the 'hood. (Tyrese's ass-whupping of the guy who takes advantage of her, while holding her at gunpoint himself, embodies the complications of his character 02; a man looking to stay straight while surrounded by the environment that landed him in the pokey.) A must-see, language and violence notwithstanding!

Want Action Tyrese Gives Action and Then some Must See!
This Movie started out Showing us Sexy As ever Tyrese ! Starts out with him on the phone at his job , as a store security guard . He must go pick up his son and his replacement is 30 mins late . He calls his boss and the boss says so what . So then he ends up leaving the job , but buys his son a present . They show him picking up his son, in his Super Nice Chevy Impala .His son falls alsleep and he puts him in the backseat. While at a red light this sexy girl played by Megan Good comes up asking him to buy some suits. He declines and she walks off. A few seconds later he is surrounded and these dudes car jack him . Keep in mind his kid is still in the car alseep. He ends up running and chasing them and shooting and killing a few of them . And he ends up finding her she ... The guy who has his kid is Named Meat Played by the rapper THE GAME , and he does a great job of playing a mean Bad drug lord. It shows him cutting off a dudes arm. Very graphic . They( Tyrese ( Otis Sr and Co co ( Megan Good ) start robbing banks ( actually they are robbing safe deposit boxes of the rival drug lords )to get the ransom money for his son . It shows you all they go through and how close they become while doing this . I am not going to give you all the details in the movie because I don't like that . Rest assured if you like Action movies and are a Tyrese fan . You will enjoy this movie . Has a great ending too ! I was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time !
