Without a doubt the best 8 iron I've ever hit. Love the feed back! I know when I've hit it on the screws. Last year I purchased clubs with the new technology. Large head, wide soles! Good shots and bad shots both felt bad, like I was hitting the ball with a block of wood. Certainly, the shots were good but terrible feel. Also, with the wide soles it was impossible to chip from tight lies around the green. With this 8 iron and the narrow sole, chipping from tight lies is wonderful. I would prefer less bounce for these shots. I can however, de-loft the club to eliminate the bounce. With the high tech club it was almost impossible to hit out of deep rough. With the smaller head and narrow sole this 8 iron allows me to dig the ball out of deep rough. Since purchasing this club I have added more to my bag. Great club! Sweet!Vollständige Rezension lesen

This club has helped me get out of trouble in some many ways. The swing weight is perfect. Club head design (#4 22-degrees) gets the ball up and out of high roughs. And I hit it straight! I would recommend to any golfer to help in those tough recovery shots.

Had read about his club and decided to upgrade my 3wood. Club is comfortable and easy to hit as a driver and or fairway wood.

I've just started to really get acquainted with this club. I've now spent several hours on the driving range trying to get comfortable and consistent with it. Now, I'm no great golfer, but I'm consistently hitting this 140-165 yards. For me that's amazing! I attribute my success to the amazing RocketBladez design and feel. Thanks for another winner TaylorMade!

I purchased the 22 degree TaylorMade Rescue Dual #4 new on eBay, after purchasing a demo model TaylorMade Rescue Dual #3 at Golfsmith. I'm getting older, and 3 & 4 irons no longer have the distance I need. I can actually hit my 5 iron the same distance as either a 3 or 4 iron, these days. I wanted to try hybrids to solve this problem, while having them be consistent with my Supersteel Burner iron set. The Rescue Dual #3 gave me back the 3 iron distance I needed; the change was so dramatic, I chose to add the Rescue Dual #4 as well. It's likely the #5 will be added in my bag soon; yes, they are that good. The movable weighting system is very helpful, I've found. As they come from the factory, the Rescue Dual is set with the 2g weight in the toe, and the 14g weight in the heel, promoting a draw. My natural shot with both the #3 and #4 went left consistently. I've just changed the weights to having the 14g weight in the toe, and the 2g weight in the heel; this has given me a straight shot on almost every stroke. My experience with my new TaylorMade R7 425 driver was similar; I set it up originally for a slight draw, but I found that configuring the weights for a high neutral launch was the best configuration for me. (Now, if I could find the sweet spot more consistently...) If you don't own a TaylorMade driver with the movable weights, you'll need to either buy the overpriced TaylorMade wrench or get a properly-sized Torx bit that fits a quality torque wrench that can be set consistently for 30 inch-pounds. My opinion: buy the wrench on eBay or at discount somewhere, since if you use another wrench than TaylorMade's, you'll most likely not be covered under warranty if you over- or under-tighten the weights. You may not change the weights if you find a configuration that works for you, but people's games change over time. I'm not a good player, but feel is something I can detect, and I want to have the best shot I can at fitting my clubs to my game as best I can. The Rescue Dual hybrids offer me that. Now I have to hit them better, and I'm working on that, too.Vollständige Rezension lesen
