    Sweeper "Brushes"

    The brushes are a bit difficult to fit but that in in the overall design of the system. These "brushes" are in fact strips of tough plastic material arranged to provide a sweeping action when fitted to the Power system. They slide into the centre holder in a simple manner and access is from the side of the individual brush holder. To gain sufficient access to allow the brush to be slid into position the retainer pin and washer must be removed (pin) and slid along the shaft (washer) to allow the individual brush holders to be similarly slid along the driveshaft. This small movement will be sufficient to slide all the holders along the shaft as they are fairly loose, Remove the pin and slide the washer at each end of the shaft and with the holders slid towards the ends, progressively remove ...

    Good replacement brushes

    Remove collector, turn up side down, then remove 5mm hex head bolts from both ends of the brushes spindle. Once free, easy to remove individual brushes and replace with new. Took about an hour, then had lunch!

    Easy to fit brushes and work well.

    Strange review questions? they want to know if the plastic brushes are compact and if they start easily?? Just plastic brush combs, easy to fit and really pick up the grass clippings. Makes an easy service.

    Westwood brushes

    Bought these for my husbands old Westwood ride on as the old ones were badly worn and wasn’t sweeping the grass into the box they fit perfectly his is just the old Westwood not the countax but they still fit ok they are a great price as was quoted £54 from a lawnmower dealers he is very happy with them a big 5*

    Fits well into original brush holders.

    Good product fits well into original brush holders on the sweeper bar. Can't comment on how long they last as I have only used them once but were much more effective than the old worn out set they replaced.
