This book, while it is an instructional book, it's very entertaining. Pavel is the premier authority on kettlebells, and he is very convincing in his reasoning and he speaks with such authority on the issue and has the body of work to back it up. Even though this book was written for women, as a man, I still found the content appropriate and most certainly challenging enough. Alot of his theories and practices go against conventional weight training, but he is a qualified and knowledgeable source. However, if you enjoy the conventional weightlifting methods, and building bulky, swollen muscles this book may not be right for you. But if you are weary of traditional training and are interested in building lean,athletic, functional muscles, kettlebells, and this book may be exactly what your looking for.Vollständige Rezension lesen
This Manual is an Introduction in kettlebell training in Tsatsouline style (Russian Kettlebell Challenge). It differs a little from the technique of competitive Girevoy sports. The book is helpful for beginners in kettlebell conditioning to avoid mistakes und learn the techniques properly. It's too much salestalk, self praise and advertising in the book, but the real information on the subject is serious and no nonsense. I recommend this book for beginners to make their first steps.
