      Great action horror!

      My favourite horror movie is the original Evil Dead and I was always sceptical about the more modern re-imaginings of this classic. But I was pleasantly surprised with this latest instalment in the franchise -as it's now become. If you are familiar with the lore of this story, ie. people discovering a book that when read releases demons that possess the living (to put it briefly), then you will know to expect lots of action and a fair amount of blood and gore. What sets it apart though is its humour, that is, it is so 'over-the-top' with the blood and crazy action that it, to me anyway, is like watching a comic book come to life, which takes the edge off any darkness or disturbing elements, since it seems so tongue-in-cheek and fantastical. This film is well worth watching and stands alone ...

      Great Halloween choice

      Film is crazy gory bit slow in first segment after titles but soon kicks off great addition to the franchise even though it can be watched as a stand alone film

      Blood, and Gore a plenty!

      Different take on the "Evil Dead" Dead Franchise, with the occasional "Nod" to the originals. Still plenty of "Guts 'N' Gore" to please the fans, a must have Horror film, it wont disappoint.
