These are, technically, the only sixteen episodes of "The Scooby-Doo Show" and "Dynomutt" that were packaged together for the "Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour." However, there were three additional episodes of "Dynomutt" that were not packaged alongside Scooby and, therefore, have yet to see DVD releases (The Scooby Doo Show lasted for three seasons. This is season one and the additional two can also be found on DVD elsewhere). Also, these shows DO NOT utilize the opening title sequence from the "Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour" (I'm guessing that suitable production material for this no longer exists) and instead, each show is broken up by "The Scooby-Doo Show" and "Dynomutt" syndicated credits. Dynomutt: Dynomutt was a bionic, bumbling canine crime-fighter who fought alongside hapless hero, The Blue Falcon. Much to the chagrin of "B.F." (as Dyno consistently refers to him), Dynomutt consistently malfunctions in trying to capture such rogues as Willie the Weasel/Hyde, Lowbrow, Super Thug, Manyfaces, and the Worm (don't ask!) Still, between Blue Falcon and Dog Wonder, they consistently get the job done. The Scooby-Doo Show: the third reincarnation of Scooby (sandwiched between the "New Scooby Movies" and "Scooby and Scrappy.") It may not have been the original but this series pitted those meddling kids against such personal favorites as the Spector, the 10,000 Volt Ghost, even the ghost of Merlin, and (possibly the scariest of all of Scooby's monsters in any reincarnation) the No-Faced Zombie. Seeing that this collection didn't utilize the proper opening credits, it might have been better off for "Dynomutt" to have been released as a stand-alone series and complete with ALL of the episodes. Still, for what this was, it was fun to revisit the Scooby-Doo Show and Dynomutt.Vollständige Rezension lesen
I love this show and I only skimmed the disks. I was worried when i saw a chipped disk and somehow different on both sides but rest looked clean used and they all work.

THESE are the best Scooby Doo episodes ever made. The first few seasons (1969-70) were kinda boring, no humour, weird voices, etc. For the episodes in this DVD set, the makers of Scooby Doo finally perfected everything. Shaggy and Scooby are at their finest with their antics and humour, and the mysteries are the best. If you truly like Scooby, these are the ones to get. I also have previously bought the one entitled "Scooby Doo- Where are you! The complete third season" with the purple cover with bats on it. That DVD set plus this one gives you the best collection of Scooby episodes. My 5 and 7 yr old girls love these shows, and I enjoy watching them with them because the humour is pretty good.
