Product Information

One of the essential cult movies of the 1980s, THE LOST BOYS ably blended truly terrifying moments with the big laughs of a teen movie. This belated sequel to the horror comedy follows Chris Emerson (Tad Hilgenbrink) and his sister Nicole (Autumn Reeser) as they arrive in a California beach town to live with a relative following the deaths of their parents. Ruling the beach are a group of local surfers who turn out to be more than teenage hooligans--they're vampires! The group's leader (Angus Sutherland, half-brother of Kiefer) sets his sights on Nicole, pulling her into their nocturnal brood. To save his sister, Chris seeks out the Frog Brothers (played once again by Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander) to guide him in the ways of vampire hunting.

wow, this movie is crap
I bought this movie for my fiance because she is a vampire freak. We both enjoyed the original Lost Boys back in the 80s. We bought this movie with low expectations, thank goodness. The movie is corny, cheesy, possibly even comical. It has a good premise, but fails to deliver. Feldman and Haim are just plain laughable. The end is anti-climatic. One redeeming quality of this movie is how it relates to the youth of today....just like the original movie did back in the 80s. I feel that the way youth is portrayed in this movie is very accurate. Pranks, video games, etc. All in all...good to watch once, but it will collect dust on our shelves now.I bought this movie for my fiance because she is a vampire freak. Lost Boys 2- save your money
Weak movie, loved the original so I had to see the second one. Looks like Cory Haim, who can't get his life together, helped screw up the sequel. Went straight to DVD for a reason. Sad day for The Lost Boys because I disagree with the original producer that a 2nd could NOT have been good. It COULD have been great. Actors and story line was O.K.- the movie was not cheaper than 19.99 anywhere DVD's are sold- a total ripoff for this movie, it should be cheaper than new releases that are actually good.Weak movie, loved the original so I had to see the second one. The Tribe: It should stay LOST !
Terrible movie. First the movie's subject and plot line are lost somewhere in the mix. You can never what is going on. Poor acting surely do to poor writing. There is no resurection here or redeeming factors. I was simply ticked. The movie was short as well. It was more like watching a made for TV movie, but worse. The "extra" features are corny and the music videos are in the poorest quality possible. It looked like a bar band and a hand held video camera. Stay away from the tribe or be sorry you ever bought it... watched it even. The long and short of it is it's a rip off from start to finish.Terrible movie. Blu Ray quality is fine, Sharp picture and sound. The movie itself is average at best. If you were a fan of the original, this sequel might be worth getting. Otherwise, you might want to rent it before buying.
