Just when you were starting to sober up after The Hangover… along comes The Hangover Part II--a deft dose of hair of the dog that will keep fans of the original screaming with laughter once again. Director Todd Phillips brings back his great cast--Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha, and Ed Helms for another splendid exercise in debauchery--and its painful aftermath. And perhaps surprisingly, The Hangover Part II keeps the laugh levels high. While the element of surprise is not here in the sequel, writer Craig Mazin, Scot Armstrong, and Phillips have upped the shock factor, resulting in humor that's sometimes not exactly politically correct, but is fall-down funny anyway. In The Hangover Part II, Stu (Helms) is marrying a Thai-American woman (Jamie Chung), and the entire ... Quicker than you can say "bachelor brunch," the boys are off on some kind of mystery adventure that results in some pretty serious, and pretty hilarious repercussions. (There's an unfortunate tattoo incident, one not easily covered up; there's an unexplained monkey--in a Rolling Stones shirt--now added to the entourage; and one of the group is missing.) The setup is familiar, but the ensemble of actors is so confident, their chemistry so easy, that the viewer enjoys their long, strange trip with bust-out-loud laughs. And you can't ask for much more in a buddy comedy.

Wolfpack at it again and this time in Bangkok!
What made The Hangover fun and entertaining unfortunately leads to predictability in The Hangover II. I had to buy the second one because I own the first so why not. I got enjoyment out of this movie because I liked the characters from the first movie. I just wish they had tried to come up with something more original, but it turned out to be the same stuff. Seems like old times.
We purchased this movie because we missed the first go around at the theatre. As a matter of fact, we purchased both The Hangover and Part II together. This was probably a mistake, as they are really the same movie and we watched them both within a couple of weeks. The guys are great together and we had lots of yucks. I'm glad we saw them, but don't do what we did and watch the two together.We purchased this movie because we missed the first go around at the theatre. Two thumbs up! It's awesome to me. Great value for your bucks!!! Awesome
A lot of people say the first one is better but I think they both are about the same. It's not like Bad Boys where the 2nd one just took it to another level. This one is just as funny and the first hangover and the fact they are in another country is just crazy! We always do stupid things here in America but to go to another country and this happens has to be thrilling and a bit scary.
