Josefina's Story Collection
This year we decided to use the American Girl series for our daughter's history lessons. Josefina was the first girl she chose to study. The book itself is beautiful and has a ribbon bookmark included. I was disappointed to find that the historical information found in the back of the paperback sets was not included. So for someone not interested in the "Peek into the Past" information, the collection is great, expecially for the price you can find it on eBay; but from now on I'll buy the book sets instead.This year we decided to use the American Girl series for our daughter's history lessons. My children are really getting into the American Girl brand, but I want it to be more than just dolls for them. Because of that, we have started to purchase the books that went with the historical dolls. Josefina's stories are our third set, and my children are sure to love them! I really like that these collection books have all of the stories in one big book. They make it easier to keep track of the books and refer back if there is a question. The only drawback is the missing historical bits at the ends of the individual books being left out of the story collection. These are great books to get your children interested in history. One of our philosophies in the homeschooling of our children is making topics come alive will help them to better retain information. These books do just that. ... My children are really getting into the American Girl brand, but I want it to be more than just dolls for them. Because of that, we have started to purchase the books that went with the historical dolls. Josefina's stories are our third set, and my children are sure to love them! Book and Doll Lovers
This is a great read for young readers. It's also great for those who love the American Dolls with the Historical stories. Josefina is still my daughter's favorite. This copy is nice because it's all 6 stories in 1 edition; it's a keepsake. I ordered this copy for a friend's granddaughter. Very nice, hardbound edition. Great value.

I have bought this book for my daughter age 11,This book a series from American girls Collection and a limited Edition too. I would like my daughter to read more. The onle way o encourage her to do so is to read something she really love.She did actually finshed Three of the series so far.This is a hard cover 397 pages book. So yes I love her readings. The only problem I have her reading these books because they are not related to school work or Geograpy or History. But isread of watching the TV to go to sleep she does read a book.That is something to be happy about it.I have bought this book for my daughter age 11,This book a series from American girls Collection and a limited Edition too. I would like my daughter to read more. Wonderful Historical Story!
I bought this book because I have the Josefina doll and want to complete her collection. It is very informative about what went on in New Mexico during her lifetime, and you learn about her everyday life as a young girl. The book itself is a beautifully bound book, with gold page edging, and a handy ribbon bookmark. I was very pleased with the book, and would recommend it to anyone, child or adult, to read.I bought this book because I have the Josefina doll and want to complete her collection.
