As a Schenker fanatic for the past 30 years and owning nearly everything the man put out on vinyl and/or CD, I decided to purchase this DVD to see how it fared compared with the times I'd seen the man live. Suffice it to say, it delivered the goods and then some. Playing before a rabid fanbase in Tokyo, Schenker absolutely wails on classics such as 'Captain Nemo', 'Into the Arena', and crowd-pleasers, 'Only You Can Rock Me' and 'Rock Bottom'. Vocalist Keith Slack does an able job filling the shoes of Gary Barden, Klaus Meine, Graham Bonnet, and the legendary Phil Mogg. Barry Sparks (Malmsteen, Uli Jon Roth) is in fine form as is drummer,Shane Galaas. Keyboardist Seth Bernstein rounds out this exemplary lineup. All-in-all a powerful statement by Michael Schenker and company. A five-star concert.Vollständige Rezension lesen
IF you are a Schenker fan, this DVD encapsulates his entire body of work. One of the best dvds I have seen for content. His playing is outstanding, still one of the best Rock players of all time! Songs are preformed spot-on, band is tight, Barry Sparks freakin rocks! A monster bass player! You will not be disappointed! Real value for the dollar. p5145.
Very good concert

The former lead guitarist for U.F.O. and the Scorpions,"behind brother Rudolph" is as talented as ever.Never leaving his post and concentrating on his music instead, he is what he is! The vocalist leaves something to be desired though, but STILL not bad! Worth the money if not over 10.00 or so! If you are a MAJOR MSG fan,it will NOT dissapoint. If however you are wanting The GREAT Wizard to Amaze and astound! You are wasting your time AND energy!
Michael Schenker may be the Greatest Guitarist you never heard of. This DVD spans his career up to 1997 including UFO and Scorpians songs. David Van Landing is outstanding as vocalist. This is a Great Concert DVD, Buy it.
