The book arrived very well packaged, the book had a plastic tight cover and it arrived in a tight craboard book which prevented the book from moving inside. The shipping was quite fast, it didnt gave me much updates but that didnt prevent the book from transit. The price for a new book was very reasonable and also the seller provided free shipping. Perfect condition and perfect experince. 1000/10!!! Would purchase from this seller again.

A classical testimony of human potential
This is the book that first brought to the West testimony of what India's self-realized masters have achieved. The author is the first yogi to introduce yoga to the West. The book is written in anecdotical manner. I find it hard to put down. Many people read it over and over again. This book contains a series of stories about the special powers, gifts and achievements of extraordinary people; the stories follow Yogananda's autobiography storyline. I personally feel touched reading this book and am inspired to invest energy in my own growth. The yoga mentioned in the book is the Kryia Yoga, which is designed to advance one on their spiritual development path. This book is not the analytical, bulleted-list scientific report; it is written rather in the orathorical Indian ... Changed My Life!
After having the book recommended by three different people at different times in my life, I figured maybe I should read it. I was not open to the thought of a "guru" when I first opened this book. Needless to say, the eloquent and gentle touch of Paramahansa opened my eyes and my heart. My life will never be the same and I now study his lessons and his other books. What a Master for our time in bringing the principles of the United Religions Initiative to life and to the common people in language we can all understand. Being raised a Christian, I left the church in my early twenties out of disgust for the hipocrasies I witnessed. I vowed to never return to organized religion and went off to learn about many other forms of honoring The Divine, including Buddhism, Paganism, ... With the reading of this book, which led to reading Yogananda's "Second Coming of Christ" I am now able to not only open my heart again to the teachings of Jesus, but am finally able to understand the true meanings of the Bible and not run away from it. I finally see the Truth in all forms of honoring The Divine, including the teachings of Jesus. Forever I am grateful to my Great Teacher...Paramahansa Yogananda. He touched a place within me that opened my heart to all in a way that I never expected or imagined.

Inspiring and Thought Provocoing, HIGHLY Recommended
It tells the life story of a person who will became the Founder of an organization (Self Realization Fellowship) that has grown from 1 person in 1920 to Hundreds of Thousands of members in the year 2020. That in itself tells a very compelling story...…….why are so many people drawn to this teaching??? More going on than meets the eye

Sri Yogananda received down to earth guidance from many adept masters and was even in the acquaintance of the ever sweet woman, Sri Andandamayi, another most interesting example of spiritual mastery. This book flows like any other autobiography and is written in a very approachable tone. His un-ordinary life is put forth in a friendly, easy manner. You won't find a lot of ego and pomp here! This book is a classic. Sri Yogananda's sincere love for God is expressed in such a romantic way, your heart will feel like bursting. This book promises to be a ... I have recommended his book to several people and bought this one as a gift. I guess that George Harrison summed this book up nicely...."I keep stacks of Autobiography of a Yogi around the house, and I give it out constantly to people. When people need 'regrooving' I say read this because it cuts to the heart of every religion." Indeed! For me, it was and is literally life changing. Exactly what the master had in mind. It might take a while to get into the book, (as it did for me), but once you do, an incredible journey ensues.I have recommended his book to several people and bought this one as a gift.
