This is a small wet vac for dealing with spills and small areas of accidents on carpets and hard floors. Mains powered with a decent length of cable it performs well for the job it was intended to do. Cleaning a full carpet is possible but would be hard work. Mine was bought to deal with puppy accidents and did the job to perfection. It also cleaned my SUV carpets (muddy footprints) and the inevitable lanolin marks from where the dog squeezes past chairs, doorways and the like. It is not exactly lightweight when full of water, but it is small enough to carry easily (I am 81) and the suction hose is an adequate length. Also impressive in this throw-away age is the list of spares available for the vac. Eat your heart Mr Dyson! I'm an engineer, it takes a lot to impress me. I am, though, with this. Wanted one for ages because we have a car with light coloured fabric seats that had become grubby. It worked very well and proved ideal for this type of job. Attached are the before and after pictures.

Received in as new condition put it straight to work by doing the stairs rugs and chairs and setee amazing results,needs quite a bit of solution luckily I have another vax carpet cleaner so I have 5litres , nice long power cord and nice and light . Highly recommended.

Fantastic bit of kit, bought one brand new from Vax but had an issue with the hose after about 20 months, it cracked. Vax refused point blank to help they just wanted me to buy a new one all for the sake of a small part hence buying this one off eBay, moved all my units working parts over and got on with my life. I highly recommend the product unfortunately the supplier, Vax are worse than useless

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She is really pleased with it. It was easy to use, works as advertised. She did her landing where dirty feet marks were, couldn't believe the dirt that was removed. The only downside was the length of the pipe, she said would be better with a few more inches. Overall very happy.
