A great product for the amateur/jpeg shooter, but not for a studio pro.
As a full-time professional studio photographer I thought I would give the Eye-Fi card a try. Because they do not make a CF card version, I tried the Eye-Fi in both a CF-SD adaptor and a camera that requires a an SD card. I bought the Pro/X2 version because I shoot in the RAW format. On a 22MP these files are quite large. My hope was that I could shoot a session, bring the client in to the office, and let the client see images from the session. Unfortunately, the Eye-Fi transmitter isn't strong enough to reach the 30 feet from my WiFi Router to the camera containing the Eye-Fi card. So, by the time I was done with a test session, no images had been uploaded to my computer. However, when I took the camera closer to the computer (about 20') it started uploading the images. By this ... As a full-time professional studio photographer I thought I would give the Eye-Fi card a try. Because they do not make a CF card version, I tried the Eye-Fi in both a CF-SD adaptor and a camera that requires a an SD card. I bought the Pro/X2 version because I shoot in the RAW format. Unfortunately, the Eye-Fi transmitter isn't strong enough to reach the 30 feet from my WiFi Router to the camera containing the Eye-Fi card. So, by the time I was done with a test session, no images had been uploaded to my computer. However, when I took the camera closer to the computer (about 20') it started uploading the images. By this time it was too late for my intent, and it was faster to remove the card and plug it into the computer and copy the files. A possible solution to this issue would be a WiFi repeater closer to the area where I'm shooting. Doing this would be a bit of an overkill since the Eye-Fi card is the only WiFi device that has this problem. Another issue I have discovered is if your camera automatically times out, the Eye-Fi transmission stops. For large amounts of data, this is a problem. In addition, if your camera battery dies before the transmission is complete, then you'll have to replace batteries, turn on the camera, and wait for the transmission to complete. In some cases, the Eye-Fi might be advantageous if you want to just set your camera in the room with your WiFi router, and then let it do its thing while you go grab dinner. Again, make sure your camera has enough battery and it is not set to time-out anytime soon. Don't get me wrong; it is a decent product. I just don't think it has the performance required for a high-end professional studio. Perhaps a CF version with a stronger transmitter would be in order for the professional photographer. For the amateur/jpeg shooter, I could see where this would really be slick, especially if you are in an area with a metro-WiFi. Oh, regarding the software... The software that comes with the Eye-Fi is slick. I really like how it works. Think of it is being like a combination of DropBox and a photo-sharing (if you decide to share) site. Although it is not usable in my studio, I do plan to put it in my Canon G12 (the camera I carry everywhere), and just let it pickup on open WiFi connections when I'm out and about. Who knows, by the time I get home from a day trip I might have all of my photos waiting for me. I haven't tested this to find out.

Works as intended
Product works as described and intended for cameras without built-in WiFi. A few things to note: 1. This product is no longer supported by the Eye-Fi company; you can still download the necessary software 2. If you happen to purchase a card that was for some reason used before you must reset it which can be an arduous chore without help from customer support

No support, this card is useless
The company that manufacturers the eye fi cards no longer support it, won't let you use it. There is no way to set it up.

Eye-Fi saves time.
I recently decided to grow my Ebay department. I purchased the cameras and to save A LOT OF TIME I equipped the cameras with The Eye-Fi SDHC Cards so that downloading would be so much FASTER and EASIER for everyone. The Eye-Fi card took seconds to set up and was ready for immediate use. Excellent purchase to save time. Perfect for someone who needs to keep going.

Great experience
I like this product. It worked well with my shutterfly app. It was very easy to use and worked well. I liked how fast it transfers to my other devices. I would recommend it to a friend.
