Great value product
Great little dashcam, easy to set up and excellent back up service from manufacturer. Best to hardwire if you can to avoid cables hanging inside the cab. The lack of Wifi is not an issue as this camera is easily dismounted for connection to a PC/Laptop. It also has GPS to enable you to track journeys and locate any accident locations for proof to insurance company or police. It does suffer a bit of glare at night with oncoming headlights but it is difficult to eradicate this problem with any dashcam whilst retaining decent footage at night. Would thoroughly recommend this if you aren't wanting to spend a lot of money

Easy to use and super sharp video
My first Dash Cam, easy to install and very neat design, great magnetic mount means is a doddle to remove. I am very impressed with the ease of use, its straightforward and clear menu makes this simple. GPS is accurate and the video stamp features are helpful. Overall I would highly recommend this unit.

The camera has a very good quality, wide view so you can record everything :D, also you can activate the wi-fi and connect your phone to it for watching the videos you have done on a bigger screen. I saw someone saying the recording its bad quality because he can not read the number plate from another car... well as far I know when I watched the video on my phone the quality was brilliant and you could see everything very clear everywhere (front left right) Thank you :)

NEXTBASE In Car Dash Cam 312GW
Reference the Dash Cam model 312GW. The novelty value is more interesting than watching television! Well, you do have to do the initial setting up and a few test runs anyway. I found a few things worth changing from the default: - Drop the exposure value by 1 notch Switch off the sound recorder. Change the default record time from 3 minutes to 5 minutes. The above are simply a personal preference. Installation was simple after I decided that the best place for me and my particular make of car, was the top corner passenger side, rather than behind the suggested central rear-view mirror. The wire then had a short few inches to run before tucking nicely under the rubber trim around the door frame. It then comes into view just at the point where it goes down and under the passenger floor mat or other chosen hidden route, with the plug finally exposed for insert to the 12V socket. It looked neat and unobtrusive. Using VLC to play the recorded sequences on the PC, colour rendition seemed accurate, and the 140° sweep, covers corner to corner of the windscreen. Impressively detailed, and number plate recognition when video is paused, is remarkably clear. If the camera is fitted professionally as a permanent installation, I understand it may reflect favourably on your next car insurance quotation. (It may depend on the insurer.) The only web cam you ever need to own
I have only been using this camera for a couple of weeks now but I am very impressed. So much so that I can say I am dedicated to the brand. The video is clean and clear and the GPS location is excellent in telling you where you travelled and at what speed. This camera will produce excellent evidence in case the unfortunate happens. The only downside is that the playback using the camera software (on your computer) is a little unstable. You can however playback using external software.
