The best headphones what i ever used for travel.I am using them about 3 years and dont wanna change them.Very practical, protective my hearing from noise, but give me great listening music, movies and othe rAdd
excellent ear phones, perfect for when you are travelling they fold into a handy case. The noise reduction is also very good and kills a lot of the background sound so you can listen to whatever with ease.
Excellent sound quality. The noise guard reduces your exposure to external sound, but it doesn't completely cancel it out.
I decided to buy these headphones as I was intrigued by the NoiseGard technology which claims to offer noise reduction during use on a plane, for instance, and also reading that they offered good to excellent sound quality. I read several good reviews on these headphones - and in particular, the review I read on the WhatHiFi website convinced me to buy them. I would say that these headphones offer decent overall sound quality, but the bass could be a bit punchier if I am honest. When not in use, the headphones can be folded and stored away in a lovely black zip-up protective case is provided with the headphones. I found the headphones comfortable to wear and the noise reduction works very well when turned on, as I found whilst I was travelling on a bus this morning, whilst listening to my iPod with the headphones attached. I won't have a chance to try it on an aeroplane until next month, when I fly out to Japan, as the much noisier environment of an aircraft will be a good test of how well this noise reduction technology actually works. With these particular headphones, Sennheiser have opted to place a battery compartment inside the NoiseGard attachment, which I don't think is a great idea, and also the wires also get easily tangled up. This isn't too much of a problem if you're sat stationary for long periods (such as on a train or plane journey), but not so good when you're walking around at pace. I also noticed that the sound quality also suffers a noticeable difference if you turn OFF the NoiseGard attachment - so if you do buy these headphones, and you plan to use them on a long haul flight, then ensure that you keep a spare pair of batteries with you if you want to listen to your music with decent sound quality. Overall, I would recommend these headphones - but only on the basis that the price has come down since they were originally released. I certainly wouldn't have been happy if I had paid £130 for them (the original price), as they're simply not worth that much money. 7/10 would be my overall score for these headphones.Vollständige Rezension lesen
