    This is a must read for those following the current "Greek tragedy"..

    This is a must read for those who are following the "Greek Tragedy" now unfolding. The book was published in 2011 and Rhodes preface covers the then unfolding Greece disclosure of a massively underdeclared debt to GDP ratio. Quote from page Xi "...it is imperative that a government be able to present the reform program as one of "National" origin to avoid the perception that it was imposed....It is vital for leaders to build domestic support and guard against perceptions that reform programs have been imposed from an outside source, whether it is the IMF or the EU authorities. There will be more willingness on the part of the citizenery to accept tough measures when it is understood that these have been developed domestically..."
