Dragonfly, supernatural sleeper.
Yet another movie I would recommend in this genre. Kevin Costner is always a good choice for these movies as the everyman caught up in a transcendental situation. In the movie his wife is killed in South America doing volenteer work with tribal people. "Joe" feels no closer after this event and is randomly being conected with people who say they have seen her and that she is trying to contact him. Thats all I can teel you without ruining the plot for you. If you have ever had the experience were a chain of events led you to certain people to bring a result you were seeking or the resolution of a problem this is your movie. I will say this it has a good ending and be prepared to cry, I'm a guy and boy did I gush some at the end of this oneYet another movie I would recommend in this genre. Dragonfly (the movie)
I had seen this movie,when my interest in the paranormal was just that,an interest. Now, I realize that this movie has alot of messages,and insights from The Other Side,and that anyone with questions regarding the world of ghosts and The Other Side,would do well to watch this movie. The description is on the movie case,and at first, it is very scary to watch,it draws the watcher into the world of grief,lost hope and when people think you are crazy for believing in the unseen world,then they have no clue that it isn't in one's imagination,that they are not insane: they are communicating with the spirit realm. Spirit is all around us,and the dead are not dead: they are, in fact, very much alive,and their spirit rests between two realms: this one and the Next. That is the whole ... I would highly recommend this movie to ease the pain of those who are intensly grieving, that this movie may ease their pain and maybe even help the person grieving,to realize that their loved ones are not very far away. Kathy bates gives a great performance,and she always does. Her character gives a biting realization,that even if she,herself, does not believe in the spirit realm,that her character grows to believe. Kevin's character, is one I can empathize with, having lost someone dear to me,and my own parents,when i was young. Generally, people do not believe in the spirit realm,having thinking that ghosts are the stuff of fairly tales. That could not be further from the truth. Ghosts are what we see, spirit is felt.

Great movie and a heart touching story about love!
I love everything about it!!!!!!!!!! The cheap price is why I purchased it. It is also hard to find this movie at such a cheap price. I have been looking for this movie for a long time. Kevin Costner plays a great role as a Physician who tragically and unexpectedly loses his wife and how she tries to contact him with a message using dragonfly symbols. This movie is worth collecting. Kathy Bates plays a good role too. Great movie and acting as always with Kevin Costner.I love everything about it!!!!!!!!!! The cheap price is why I purchased it. A usually difficult to find movie at one time, made easy by E Bay. Good movie, fair price.
A supernatural drama, that unfolds quickly, and as a dragonfly's wings flit, it races headlong to a pulse quickening climax. A romantic tale of love lost through tragedy, the devastating affects on the surviving partner (Costner), and an ending that perpetuates the love that persists, and crosses the veil between two worlds.

I first saw this on late night tv in Dec. 2006, I had never seen it before and although I usually don't like dramatic movies, but this one was very good and kept me interested until the ending. I have asked several people if they have seen it and every one of them said NO! I thought it was so interesting and entertaining that I decided to try to find it for sale, It was very difficult until I tried DVDs on EBAY, I found it right away and the price was right too. This movie is a strange and surprising supernatural type film and at times it is very scary and thrilling. It stars Kevin Costner and has Kathy Bates in it too. It is about an hour and fortyfive minutes long and is rated PG 13. It is really one of those movies that you are left thinking about for days. I am so glad I ...
