Spartacus Blood And Sand Season 1 Blu Ray
Great series. Highly entertaining and visually stunning. Series started out average, and continued to develop into a phenomenal show. It shows the rise of Spartacus from soldier, to slave, to gladiator. to Champion, and then a leader. There are alot of Blood and Violence in this series, along with sex and completely naked people occasionally pop up.Definitely not for children under 18.All the characters are well developed,and at first you would question why the special effects are so apparent, but the producers seems to realize this and toned it down after the first episode, to give it a more real, serene look. If you're looking for alot of history, there isn't much but there are scants of it and you'll have great entertainment and a great look on your HDTV. ... Great series. Awesome Series and Blu-ray really brings it to Life!
If you want to watch this series you absolutely must get the blu-ray version. If it is Roman life, gladiators, blood, gore, orgies, politics, and awesome effects that you crave....you will not find a better series. It has it all and more. A real story line adds to the series to captivate it&apos;s audience. Once it has you there is no stopping, you want to follow it to the end. And what an end the first season has for you! The blu-ray version is blu-ray at it&apos;s best. Truly done very well and brings the series almost too close to life. It&apos;s great! You can&apos;t go wrong with this purchase. If you like action movies, you'll love this one
The quality was excellent. I really like this program and it is worth the extra to get it in Blu-Ray. The only reason I didn't give it a five star was because every episode was shortened by the company that produced the disc set. Also I didn't care for all the out dated movie trailers at the beginning. They were able to put in all the extra bells and whistles, interviews with the actors, who was in every scene, the sound score, but not show the entire original 13 episodes. This was no fault of the seller. He really bent over backwards to make things right. I checked with some Movie rental companies to find out why the discrepancy between the (Stazs original & rental discs both are same) and the version that is sold retail. One of the best shows on TV. It just kept getting better and better.
This show just kept getting better and better. I didn't know if the season was going to be 10,11,12 or 13 episodes. When i watched episode 10, I thought, that could be a good season finally by anyone's standards. Then the same thing happened with episodes 11 and 12...13 came along and blew away any season finale that I ever saw. The show is quality. They even did the daunting task of doing a prequel..and they knocked it out of the ball park only adding depth to the characters we became familiar with in Blood and Sands.This show just kept getting better and better. I didn't know if the season was going to be 10,11,12 or 13 episodes. When i watched episode 10, I thought, that could be a good season finally by anyone's standards.
