    A steal at this price........avoid the plastic copies!

    Many years ago my first new digital caliper cost a King's Ransom. This item is probably 95% as good and cost a tiny fraction of that price. My one has a few minor cosmetic blemishes but nothing that will interfere with its operation - it is precision constructed to fine tolerances from hardened steel (not plastic) and works perfectly with 100% repeatability. I can only marvel at the quality for such a low price.

    Good gauge at a great price

    Always wanted a set of vernier gauges and this does the job. It is lightweight, easy to use and read and accurate (as far as I can tell). Used for many different applications and does OD & ID with ease

    Described as Carbon fibre when in fact it is plastic and bends so doesn't give an accurate measurement..bought it thinking it was a Sealey product and it clearly isn't, it's cheap and nasty and the ones I have had in the past from Aldi for less money have been better quality. I can't be bothered even asking to return it and have thrown it in the bin. Crap

    Works well

    It measures accurately the small gemstones I use, from 5mm to 20mm and larger. It certainly would be sufficient for any hobbyist's measurement needs.
