I've been putting off buying a smartwatch for a long while due to cost and I didnt know if I'd use it. The Gear s2 iz extremely convenient with the rotating bezel, especially since I work in a lab and can't always touch the screen. It's well made and a great size for someone with smaller wrists. I want s fan of how it sat on my wrist with the leather band, but after replacing with a milanese loop band, it is super comfortable. Battery life lasts me all day and all night, with it recharging in the time it takes me to get ready in the morning. I wish the sleep tracking was a bit more accurate, but hope it will improve with continued use. The activity tracking can also be a bit iffy, in my opinion. It is generally free of bugs, but I've had issues with it not going into outdoor mode when I'm cycling (meaning I cant see the screen at all), and the screen sometimes doesn't turn on with the normal gesture. I foresee this lasting for a while, especially since Samsung still offers support for this model (and hopefully further Tizen updates). Definitely worth the price, especially compared to newer models and the expensive apple watches. Vollständige Rezension lesen

The watch came in good condition, although it wasn't in the original box. The charger appears to be original equipment, but the two sides of the watch band are slightly different. The side with the buckle is matte black and the side with the holes is a shiny black. That isn't a big deal for me. I'll eventually get another band anyway. The watch was unlocked as described and I had no problem adding $10/month service for it on my AT&T account. I could have maybe done it myself, but chose to take it to an AT&T store and have them do it. The store is in a more rural area and it was the first smartwatch the salesperson had set up, so it took a little while to do. (Would have taken me even longer, I'm guessing.) But I left without any cost, except the $10/month service. I'm still getting used to the features, and really haven't used the watch to make or take a call, which is the biggest reason I got it. But with the holidays and other things going on, I haven't had much of a chance to play with it. I really like being able to change the look of the free watch faces available, through the Stylize option. S-Health is great for keeping track of everything, all day. Most everyone has an issue with battery life. The salesperson, at AT&T, said to turn the watch off, if just for a minute, every day. That will keep the battery from dying so quickly, he said. Nope. Still runs out of gas within 24 hours. I turned off every app I didn't use frequently and that helped a bit. I was only getting a half day out of a charge. Not good. If you're looking for a smartwatch, I'd suggest getting a Like-New one to test it out. I paid only half of what AT&T would have charged me, if they could even have gotten the Gear S2 3G Classic model, which they can't. This cost as much as my FitBit Charge and does so much more, although it is pretty big and I have tiny wrists. The Classic is still smaller than the regular Gear and nicer-looking, IMO. i would recommend it for anyone wanting to a) have a phone available at all times, b) keep track of steps, c) keep track of sleep, d) get weather anytime, anywhere, e) see messages.... I could go on, but you get the idea. It's a computer/phone on your wrist. How cool is that?Vollständige Rezension lesen

I own a Samsung phone so I like this watch for the phone. I rotating bezel makes it easy to use, I changed the white band to a rose gold band that i also found on ebay and it matched it perfectly. The white band is easily dirty so I would recommend cleaning it every night or changing it to something that doesn't get dirty that easily. I wish there were more apps like for the android wear devices but I'm sure more will be coming soon. I don't think this watch is worth the original asking price of $449 because it doesn't do anything I can't do with my phone and I need my phone to be close by to receive notifications, but I'm okay paying $200 and that is what I paid.

After going through a few fitbits, it wasn't until I put the S2 on, that I realized how much I missed having a nice looking/dress watch on my wrist. This watch has it all... good battery life (just under 2 days), excellent screen, it's round, uses a standard watch band, and a great user interface. Navigating the watch is a breeze using the physical bezel and touch screen. The only thing holding this watch back from world domination is the limited selection of apps. It has all the basics, but the bells and whistles would push it over the top.

It is very convenient and practical to be able to leave your phone in your pocket/purse just to see or respond to notifications or text messages. Less chances you have to drop your phone and break it. Also, can feel the buzzing on my hand much more often than a buzzing of the phone in my pocket when at work or phone is on vibrate. Access notifications, texts, calendar appointments, weather forecast, fitness tracking, sports scores, headlines, and more all from your watch. It's a ton of features in such a small, great looking package.
