From the depths of Japanese cinema comes the infamous Guinea Pig series. This is probably the most known entry, Flower of Flesh and Blood. There is an interesting history to this film, it is said that Charlie Sheen once, at a party, witnessed a few friends watching this. Most likely on coke, he believed itto be real and turned it in to the authorities who later made the director prove it's aesthetics in court a' la Ruggero Deodato's Cannibal Holocaust. The filmmaker also claims that while the film itself is fake, it is based on an actual snuff film he recieved in the mail, which he too reported to the authorities. This is an ironic twist, considering he was brought in on similar charges for the film he made from this experience. The film itself is beautifully shot and executed and has a definite themne of obsession and materialism. I loved it and highly reccomend it.Vollständige Rezension lesen
If you are looking for excitement or a horrorfying plot about a murderer, this is not the movie for you. This is just plain out gore, about a woman getting teared apart. The reason i chose to watch it was just because of the 'charlie-sheen-incident' and the fact that I have a thing for disturbing gore.. If That is what you are looking for, you should go watch it!
LOVED THE GORE AND THE LINGERING SHOTS OF PAIN - BETTER THAN LAST HOUSE ON DEAD END STREET BUT AS WITH ALL THESE FILMS "ITS ONLY A MOVIE"
Very hard to find, but very worth it for any gore-hound. It's about forty minutes long, and atleast thirty of them are drenched in blood.
