    Superb author and story, but disappointing printed edition.

    Wonderful story with some nice photographs which would NOT appeal too much to little children. That is not such a disaster as the writing stands up on its own. Unfortunately this edition is in extremely small print and children will not want to read it on their own because of this. The author deserves better, as indeed does the readership. If anyone knows of a COMPLETE edition such as this, but of very much larger dimensions (and font) I would be truly grateful to hear from them.

    A must read for inspiration

    I was made aware of this book by a work colleague over 40 years ago. I read it annually to focus my mind and improve my confidence playing sport. It 'takes you away' and makes me want to achieve. Try it, it may have a different affect on you, but that's what it does for me.

    A joy to read

    This is truly an amazing book, can’t remember how many times I’ve read it but every time I do I learn something else about myself, and look at thing in a different light. This book has been my companion and friend for many years, I hope you enjoy it as I have . Peace & Love

    A wonderful book

    Over the years I have bought many of this book as gifts for friends and family. This book means something special and different for every person. You can read it as a story about a seagull or it can give you a whole different view on your world. Enjoy

    Give it a read.

    A very quick read. I brought this book because I've heard so much about it, and was told it's one of those "books you should read", if only to form an opinion of it to be able to offer up. As with all books each persons opinion on reading it will be different and therefore I would say it's worth reading if it appeals to you. The use of photographs and pictures in this book was actually a really nice touch, and made reading it more enjoyable. The book also sends a positive message about aiming high for what you want to achieve in life. This is most probably why it has become so popular, as through this I'm sure Bach has encouraged some of his readers to do the same.
