This really nice and HO gauge loco by Jouef is 8292 an État 40 steam locomotive in SNCF Green livery, it has running number 040-TA-28 and a note that it operated from the Batignolles depot. The État 40-001 to 40-143 was a class of 0-8-0 Tank locomotives of the Chemins de Fer de l'État, a forerunner of the SNCF.
