A side-scrolling platform game that mixes in elements of pinball and tennis, FlingSmash finds gamers controlling the ball-shaped hero Zip as he careens around tropical Suthon Island in an attempt to fend off the evil Omminus. Each copy of the game comes bundled with a black Wii MotionPlus controller, which allows players to use tennis-racket style swings to smack Zip through obstacles and enemies in all eight of the game worlds. Each level offers a different challenge, such as the alteration of Zip's size or elemental makeup, and FlingSmash also includes eight bonus levels as well as eight unlockable mini-games. And for those who enjoy multiplayer action, FlingSmash lets a second player join in on the fun as Pip, Zip's loyal friend.

While the purchase and exchange with the seller was positive, I did receive the item with a crack in the hinge that wasn't apparent in the listing. The seller and I surmised this happened during shipping, and they have contacted Canada Post about the matter. Still waiting to hear back if Canada Post will cover any damages. As this was an expensive item, I'm a bit disappointed about that part of things.

Fun game with very little replay.
While this game rates low on most reviewers scoreboards and I can understand why, It is definitely worth playing if you know what you're getting yourself into. Basically you wave your wiimote around to fling your character across the screen and break various objects. It is completely mindless and offers no replayability but it is fun while it lasts. I only played Multiplayer and I think it is a must (especially if you have a youngling) I doubt playing alone would be as good experience. There are power ups that change the game-play, fun boss battles and thoughtfully designed levels that are just enough to keep you interested.
