This review is of WWE’s Taboo Tuesday 2005. 1. Rey Mysterio and Matt Hardy v Edge and Chris Masters – Well, we quickly found out the Edge isn’t going to be a part of the match. His replacement – Snitsky. A step down, but the match was actually pretty enjoyable. All the guys go their part. RATING – 7.5/10 2. Eugene and “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka v Tyson Tomko and Rob Conway – Not a fan of back to back tag matches to start the show. This one is certainly a lot slower. Fun match but lacking. Good to see all the legends involved as Kamala and Duggan come to the rescue. RATING – 5/10 3. Mankind v Carlito – Good match. Carlito gives some good shots to Mankind, and Mankind returns the favor with all of his usual moves. Major step up from the last match. RATING – 8/10 4. World Tag Team Title Match: Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch v Kane and The Big Show – Solid and entertaining match. I think both of these teams were underrated. Tremendous back and forth match. RATING – 8/10 5. Street Fight: Batista v Jonathan Coachman – It was fun to see Vader and Goldust having Coachman’s back, but it didn’t do too much to change the overall quality of the match. Even at his age, Vader could have provided a good foil to a guy like Batista. At least it was rather short. RATING – 6/10 6. WWE Women’s Title Fulfill Your Fantasy Battle Royal: Trish Stratus v Ashley v Candice Michelle v Mickie James v Victoria v Maria – A bunch of women in lingerie… you’ll have no complaints from me, that’s for sure. Actually a pretty fun little battle royal. I was happy that the final three were the strongest from a wrestling perspective. RATING – 7.5/10 7. WWE Intercontinental Title Steel Cage Match: Ric Flair v Triple H – This is what I bought the DVD for, and without question it was worth it. It was an amazing match that really told a powerful story. For what this DVD is selling for online, just watching this match would be worth the price. RATING – 9.5/10 8. WWE Title Match: John Cena v Kurt Angle v Shawn Michaels – Another really good match, and a great cap to the show. Very energetic match with three absolutely great athletes. RATING – 9/10 Overall, the DVD had some down points, especially in the beginning, and in my opinion suffered from running so many tag matches (3 of the first 4 matches) out of the gate. The final two matches made the DVD worth it though. OVERALL RATING – 7.5/10Vollständige Rezension lesen
The case is in good condition and the paper card is in there. The playback is flawless and the picture and audio quality is beautiful. I like buying stuff that comes brand new.
