Elvis made television and entertainment history as this was the first-ever live concert broadcast over satellite, reaching in excess of one billion people worldwide.Note: Elvis' performances of I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry, I Can't Stop Loving You, and Johnny B. Goode in the Aloha From Hawaii concert have been deleted from the newly re-released DVD/VHS editions of this program. Music publishing clearance from the songs' owners was up for renewal and an agreement could not be reached.This edited version is the only available version of Elvis' historic Aloha From Hawaii concert.

I remember this concert on t.v. A great d.v.d I have ordered two more and wondering where there at ? It has been a few weeks. Hope to here from you soon.

Elvis the performer & singer lives on....
Purchased this DVD for my mom, it brought so much joy for her to see and hear the great Elvis again. It was a concert in Hawaii like no other. Loved watching it with her over and over. Definitely worth the money I spent on it. (:D

Great For Elvis Fans!

"Finally - the ELVIS Aloha From Hawaii special the way that it was meant to be seen. I remember seeing this show when it was first broadcast in America on April 4th, 1973 and enjoyed it very much. I have seen it several times since then over the past 33 years. Now, I get to relive the Aloha '73 special in this ultimate edition. This 2-disc set represents ELVIS at his finest performance during the 70's, like never before. It contains both the rehearsal show and the actual satellite telecast, both with remarkable picture and sound clarity. In addition, the bonus footage is also an extra-added treat as well. Especially noteworthy is the Post-Concert "Insert" Songs Session, which features ELVIS and his group performing 5 additional numbers after the audience had ...
