Another Gem in his Crown
If you are familiar with Shel, you will not need to read this review. You will love him with a passion, or you will not be interested enough to bother to read this. For the lovers of Shel (Uncle Shelby), get one for you collect. Read it to a child with the voice of the author as best you can. Or make up one of your own. If you are not familiar with Shel, WOW, you are in for a treat. Visit his home web site and listen to some of his readings. Buy an album, or two. As Uncle Shelby has left us for the next Great Adventure, get as much of his creations as you can. They will warm your heart, make you smile, and even gross you out. Entertaining for both kids and adults, while reading to their kids or grandkids!
It's such an entertaining book and my grandchildren giggle often while I read it to them! Shel Silverstein is one of the best authors of all time!

My Grandaughter loves to read , during the school year but during the summer is a little rough till she reag a book written by Shel Silverstein no we have to take the book away at nite!

An accurate descriptio of what you'll find in the book
Fun and fascinating language both children and adults will find enjoyable, as we all fall into this manner of speaking at one time or another.

Great book, a fun & challenging way to read a story.
I bought this book for my grand-daughter because I love Shel Silverstein books. My son read them as a child, and I wanted her to experience the fun of these stories and poems. Runny Babbit is slightly different in that it reverses letters in the words, which really challenges a child's ability to read the story in an non-traditional way. Great book, would recommend this to other parents or grandparents!I bought this book for my grand-daughter because I love Shel Silverstein books. My son read them as a child, and I wanted her to experience the fun of these stories and poems. Runny Babbit is slightly different in that it reverses letters in the words, which really challenges a child's ability to read the story in an non-traditional way.
