Deepak fills a corner of an open mind with enough substance for a lifetime.
For 60 years I have been fascinated by the "consciousness literature." Also, I am something of a "religious voyeur" having visited exotic temples, cultural fringe communes and isolated congregations, all of whom profess to be determined to "find God." Of course, at some point, I would be remiss not to check out Deepak. After all, his "take" on mankind's health, longevity, idiosyncrasies, etc. are insightful, timely, and rationally well founded. How could I expect anything else when I investigated "God" with Deepak. The wonderful addition to this "exploration with Deepak" is his complete openness in sharing his personal experiences and personal conclusions risking the professional aversion to anecdotal reasoning that is inherent in so many scholars who view themselves as ... Wonderful Book!
This book explains so well, and in layman's terms, how we scientifically know that God exists. This is actually the third copy of the book I've bought--I lent out the first 2 and did not get either of them back. I bought the third book because I wanted to read it again and keep the book on hand for future reference; but again, I am allowing a friend to read this copy, too! I only hope I get this one back. If you have questions about God, read this book. It will answer many of your questions.This book explains so well, and in layman's terms, how we scientifically know that God exists. One of the best books I have ever read.
Dr. Chopra has the ability to bring his ideas to life. After reading the book it is hard not wanting to share what you learn from the book with others. I will use many of the ideas in the book in the Bible study I lead. Anyone desiring to expand their views in this area would definitely enjoy this book. This book was recommended by a friend. After reading this book I ordered five other books by Dr. Chopra. Enjoyed every one of them!Dr. Chopra has the ability to bring his ideas to life. After reading the book it is hard not wanting to share what you learn from the book with others. I will use many of the ideas in the book in the Bible study I lead. Clear, simple, and insightful.
A practical guide to understanding why the Power that fills the Universe with creative Love Engergy is worshipped in so many different ways in different cultures and understood so differently by individual persons. This well-written book also challenges us to climb and even SOAR above our own level of comprehension to deeper and more serene levels. Thank you, Deepak !
