Product Information

This Panasonic camera lens is the first mirrorless system of its line to feature a standard constant-aperture zoom. With a 24-70 mm zoom range in 35 mm format, the Panasonic Lumix lens is popular with both professional and amateur photographers who use full-frame cameras to capture everything from landscape scenes to studio portraits. The 12-35 mm f/2.8 lens features image stabilization with POWER O.I.S. Technology to steady the possible shake that can occur when attempting to capture an image. A standard 58 mm filter thread ensures that multiple caps and extras can be easily affixed to the Panasonic camera lens. The Panasonic Lumix provides a near-silent operation when shooting video images, while a nano surface coating on the glass greatly decreases lens glare and ghosting. Most attractive to photographers is the dust- and splash-proof design of the 12-35 mm f/2.8 lens, enabling it to endure wear and tear on the gos. A sturdy build and a compact body that measures 67.6 mm (2.7 inches) in diameter, 73.8 mm (2.9 inches) in length, and weighs 305 g (10.8 oz) completes the Panasonic camera lens.

Delivers what is says, and with amazing image quality.
I don't know what to say that hasn't been said by much better photographers than me, and that's why I bought it. I knew the specs were what I wanted, I saw examples and really liked what I saw. I bought this because it is supposed to be optically excellent, and it truly is. I bought it for the practical use of a wide angle lens with the ability zoom and a relatively fast constant aperture, it delivers this too. I also love that it's weather-sealed, this means using it with my weather-sealed GH4 is perfect, not having to worry about a bit of dust or rain. But I haven't yet tested those conditions. Only negatives are the price, but It's actually not much compared to motherliness of this quality. It's still a lot. Then there's the lens hood which is a bit odd to click on - feels like it doesn't entirely fit, especially when you reverse it for transport. Oh, and the rubber grips on the focus/zoom rings are lint-magnets.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Fulfills expectations
Expectations were high and they are fulfilled. Image is sharp, focusing and stabilization works fast. Zooming goes smoothly, good also in the video shot.

Taking photography seriously....
This lens combined with my Panasonic GF1 meets all my needs and has enabled me to rid myself of my expensive and cumbersome Nikon system. So if you are tired of carrying around a bag full of heavy lenses and just want to take 'pin-sharp' photos at a minute's notice...get this combination!

Fantastic Lens
Used with a Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera and an SLR Magic Anamorphot - the power stabiliser works on the BMPCC as does focus (although slow) and Iris control - and it manages to focus through the adaptor perfectly well. Very crisp image, largely plastic but pretty well made - may try it out on a gimbal. This doesn't have a manual aperture ring, and the focus ring is an infinity type so no external focus markings. Works brilliantly on the Lumix GM1 which gives that older camera a little more life.

Very good zoom lenses whit fixed aperture
This lenses are great whit very good sharpness allover the entire zoom range. Fixed aperture is also good as build quality. A must lenses to all lumix cameras. Recomend|
