A nice upgrade.
I installed it into an Epiphone ES335 pro. It was a near perfect fit except for a minor modification to the bushing. The new bushing was about .008" smaller. I wrapped a cut to fit 1/4" piece of aluminum foil for a turn and a half taking up the necessary excess gap. T he bushings then fit in snugly into the existing holes. The two screw mounting holes were fine. The unit looks great and works as advertised. It may not have made tuning hold to pitch appreciably longer but string changes would be much faster. I did apply a small amount of synthetic oil to the shaft and small hole for the gears. It works very smoothly.I installed it into an Epiphone ES335 pro. These Fit PRS SE Zach Myers
I wanted to install a set of locking tuners into my 2017 PRS SE Zach Myers. At first, I tried the TonePros Kluson top locking tuners, but due to a collar surrounding the tuner post, these wouldn't fit into my headstock with modification. Then I found these Gotoh SD90 locking tuners. They fit perfectly, just dropped them in and screwed them down. Plus, they lock via a thumbwheel on the back which I like much better than top locking tuners. And the color of the buttons is a much closer match to the Zach Myers original tuners than the TonePros tuners. So, if you want drop-in locking tuners for the PRS SE Zach Myers (or other PRS SE with vintage style tuners), these will do the job!I wanted to install a set of locking tuners into my 2017 PRS SE Zach Myers. Good tuners but, not super durable.
So I’ve had the on for a few days and they’ve worked great. Then last night my cat sneaked in my basement where my guitars are and somehow managed to knock my Les Paul over. This is where the durability issue comes in, the guitar fell on the G string tuner against my wall edge, literally Exploding the internals as to be expected and then falling flat on the strings and fretboard. Now here’s my issue, I can get a single replacement tuner sure. Problem is now after checking the rest of the tuners out, they all seem fine at first but another glance reveals significant backlash in them all, now rendering them all useless. I know guitars aren’t meant to fall but things happen sometimes I’ve never seen anything where a hard bonk to the neck ruined the entire tuner set. If your tough on ... These are great tuning machines!
I upgraded my Corvettes tuners with these having experienced them on my Powerjet. The Corvette has been a work in progress with getting the tuning stabilized. These did the trick! Install was simple and the antique knob look has added some sophistication to my rig that I am playing more now which is the bottom line here. Get em if you need new machines!

Great Tuners
These are really good upgrade tuners I am using on my Gibson Les Paul. The vintage style looks great. The tuners are solid throughout and don't slip. And the install was easy. Great product overall.
