Truth about Americas HIstory
This is an excellent set for any family to watch and use as a teaching tool for your children. Our children are not being taught the truth about our founding fathers and our American Heritage. David Barton always backs up everything he claims from books out of the Library of Congress and books written before the start of the progressive era during the Wilson administration. If we are to save this nation we MUST know the truth and if we are to have our children carry on after we are gone they MUST know the truth and this DVD is the best place to get the truth. Another place is http://www.nccs.net Check out 'The 5000 Year Leap', 'Making of America' both books, then there is an excellent DVD called 'A More Perfect Union.' Folks, this is a must own to reacquaint self and others with what being an American really means. We take so much for granted and if you haven't noticed lately, we are losing our country. This is not new, it's been going on for many years, our culture decline. It has begun to escalate and as famous historian, David Barton says, "We must know our history if we are to survive as a nation we recognize." Mr. Barton is on a personal mission to educate (and re-educate) people what they never learned about our country's founding in school. More and more of our history has been removed over the years, substituted with slanted views by the left who have an agenda. Please, please, buy this set and share it with family and friends. I will be buying several sets to give as gifts and it's the ... Folks, this is a must own to reacquaint self and others with what being an American really means. The American Heritage Series
Awesome DVD series that will amaze even the biggest skeptic of the incredible impact Christianity has had in shaping America. We bought this series to give our 2 boys an honest and accurate account of history that they won't get in public schools. Our boys are a little too young at kindergarden and 3rd grade to grasp all the significance of the content or hold their attention. We are enjoying watching this series during family movie night to slowly introduce some foundations and feel that it is perfect for 6th graders to adults. Barton is unchallengeable by his use of original documents, many of which he has acquired for his personal library. This clearly shows the Founders were detailed and careful to construct the American government on 1700 years of Christian teachings, and also an appreciation of ancient governess predating Christ. Otherwise you can walk the halls of the Capitol Building or visit Wall builders, where the proofs are scanned for you. Let the Founders speak to you through this series and other works by an historian who is unafraid to challenge modern revisionists with extensive footnotes and an unassuming delivery. Over the years, and especially in the last 65 yrs., America has been deconstructed one small deception at a time; so that these days the country is unrecognizable from what Barton ... Barton is unchallengeable by his use of original documents, many of which he has acquired for his personal library. That Barton investigates dozens of the Founders, makes the Revolution come alive here ..... though I think the Adams family gets far too little notice given their extensive personal accounts of colonial life and the political subtext between the main players. That Barton documents the experiment in virtue that was and still is unique in America's founding makes this series enjoyable and satisfying to watch again and again. Every history I was taught, from elementary school through college, agrees with what is presented here.
