Great CD
First off this is a soundtrack from an excellent movie, and this is all the more reason to love the CD. There are already a lot of positive associations with the movie, and the music just reminds me of a different time. I love The Divine Miss M and her amazing voice, featured here on this CD. She gives her own stylistic twist to the classic "Under the Boardwalk," "Baby Mine," and "Glory of Love," all of which I love. This CD also has some very unique songs, such as "Oh Industry" and "Otto Titsling," and even if these songs are a little too different for your taste, there are enough classics you can't go wrong with, to make this purchase more than worthwhile. You will love Under The Boardwalk Sung By Bette Midler
I have heard the song: "Under The Boardwalk" by several artists, but by far Bette Midler singing it is my favorite. There are 10 Songs on this DVD which were in the movie Beaches. Beaches is a wonderful, heart touching, happy and sad movie at the same time. It is a movie you will never forget and the songs are reminders of the theme of the movie. Wonderful movie and wonderful songs. If you haven't seen the movie: Beaches, I highly recommend it and if you haven't heard the "Beaches" CD, I also highly recommend it. Track listing 1. The movie certainly is not a recent release, but the soundtrack is very enjoyable to those who enjoyed the movie. Music invokes memories; happy to find this item available for purchase. Absolutely no problems of any kind with this transaction!

This is the title track to my all time favorite movie. I have been blessed to have a BEST friend for many many years and this movie always makes me think about how much I appreciate her. "Wind Beneath My Wings" is the main reason I purchased this CD, love the song, love Bette singing it, was glad to find it all these years after the movie was released. I cherish it because of it's meaning to me. The CD is like most of them, only a few songs of real interest on it, but the ones I like; makes the CD worth the cost.This is the title track to my all time favorite movie. Wonderful mix of familiar and original music!
This CD has the familiar songs of "Under the Boardwalk" and "The Glory of Love" while introducing "Oh Industry" and "I Know You By Heart," a beautiful song about friendship. "Oh Industry" is especially pertinent now when industry seems to be completely suppressed. And "I Know You By Heart" always makes me think warmly of my good friends and how much they mean to me. Every song is special and made more so by Midler's lovely voice. One of the best soundtracks I've heard and I have a ton. This is in the top three.This CD has the familiar songs of "Under the Boardwalk" and "The Glory of Love" while introducing "Oh Industry" and "I Know You By Heart," a beautiful song about friendship.
