Great book and truly do recommend it to all
The book was great. Its a great read. I was a fan ever since I saw the movie as a child. I read the lost world recently and loved it so I had to get the first book, and Ebay was where I turned to accomplish that task. I dont regret buyin the book for one second, however it does drastically differ from the movie. Dont get me wrong I love both the movie and the book, and while they are similar with many of the main characters the same, they differ on a great number of levels. There are a few events in the book that I dont neceassarily agree with but over all I must say I prefer the book over the movie, and the movie is one of my favorite movies of all time. It made want to be a paleontologist for a majority of my life (I'm not though), I'd say that's a pretty big impact on someone but I ... The book was great. Its a great read. If your a fan of the Jurassic Park trilogy or even just the first movie and want to read the book that sparked the creation of the movie that would forever change movie making than this book is for you. However if you are a Hardcore fan of the movie and cant see the story of Jurassic Park in any other way than how it was performed in the movie than the book may spoil it for you. For any one who just wants a really good book with adventure and some elements of horror this would also be a good book for you. A bit of forwarning, be sure to read all descriptions in regards to the book and if you have any questions contact the seller. I purchased this book keeping in mind that I only wanted the hardcover and when I found one at reasonable price I jumped at it only to find when it arrived the jacket was missing. The picture was a stock photo and I didn't take the time to read realize that before I made my purchase. Even without the Jacket I was still pleased with the book but did go back and purchase another one with the Jacket, and am very pleased I did so cuz the book looks so much better with it. Great book and truly do recommend it to all just remeber to read description.

Great read, for the most part...
As you’ve probably heard, the book is wildly different from the movie, in mostly good ways. It is a fast, exciting and compelling read that only gets bogged down when Ian Malcolm “speaks”. In fact, by the time I was 50-60% of the way through the book, when I got to a part where Malcolm spoke I skim read it so fast I basically skipped it. These snippets truly stop the book dead in its tracks. Otherwise, it is a great read. Having grown up with the movie and never read the book, it was refreshing to see the story told in a different way and different light altogether. It makes you appreciate many of the changes that were made when writing the script for the movie while still leaving large chunks of the original story in tact. So adventuring!
Jurassic Park is one of my favorite movies so I decided to read the novel. Reading the novel is so adventuring and it made me feel like I was taking an adventure in the dinosaur land of Jurassic Park. In my opinion, the novel is better than the movie and it has a lot of details. I really love the ending part in the novel. Tim is my favorite character in both novel and film and I love him so much! Those of you people who watched Jurassic Park and like it a lot but had not read the novel version, read it!Jurassic Park is one of my favorite movies so I decided to read the novel. Nothing like the movie, which is to be expected
Saw the movie 100 times before I finally read the book. It’s OK but I expected more. It’s a super fast read. Doesn’t get boring. I was just “ruined” by having seen the movie millions of times prior to reading the book.
