Product Information

Supernatural abilities are inherently controversial. A person can't really prove he has ESP, for example, but it's pretty difficult to prove that he doesn't, as well. Add in a contested will, a Depression-era economy, and a town full of strangers, and Nancy Drew has some big challenges in front of her as she sets out to solve her 12th computer-game case. In The Secret of the Old Clock, Nancy visits a friend-of-a-friend named Emily Crandall, whom she meets for the first time when arriving at the Lilac Inn, which is run by Emily and her guardian.<br><br>Emily and her recently deceased mother had run the inn for years, and expected its eccentric but kindly owner, Josiah Crowley, to leave it to them in his will. Instead, it seems the deed to the Lilac Inn was left in full to a flamboyant character named Richard Topham, who runs the town's "School for the Study and Development of Paranormal Powers." Chances are it will take Nancy's natural powers of keen observation, empathetic engagement, and good old fashioned deductive reasoning, to see through any supernatural charades and help her new friends find justice.<br><br>Released in time to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the teen sleuth's literary debut, Secret of the Old Clock is based on characters and settings found in the first four Nancy Drew books, and it is the first game in the Her Interactive series that is set in the past instead of contemporary times.

    Great Game!

    This is a unique game as it is set in the 1930's. It is a good game for kids, my eleven year old brother enjoys it, but it is a bit slow for older kids.

    Love playing Nancy Drew Games.. Makes you use your brain. Bought mine on e-bay. they are great. It is easy to buy this way. thank-you Ebay.

    Great idea for an adventure game!

    This is one of my 5 favorite Nancy Drew pc games, along with "Message in a Haunted Mansion", "Stay Tuned for Danger", "Treasure in the Royal Tower", and "Shadow at the Water's Edge". This one is based on the first book published about the detective, and has a period setting of 1930.

    Secret of the Old Clock PC game

    I loved the old time theme. I am a big Nancy Drew fan and collect many books and I have bought a few of the PC games. It was fun to drive the car. My husband loved the golf game. It had lots of tasks to complete and it keeps you hunting for clues. My granddaughter love playing it to.

    Secret of the Old Clock

    I loved this game. I liked the fact that we were able to drive the car and that was neat. The most challenging part to me was the putt putt course. This is my second favorite Nancy Drew Game.
