This book can help set more captives free .
The whole topic of spiritual warfare is controversial, and frankly I expect that some people will "review" these books who do NOT want any captives set free. I can assert honestly, this book is in the category of Neil Anderson's books; they will change they way you see life, and can help the way you live life. Please DO read this book. The principles of spiritual warfare are clearly explained, supported by scripture, & have plenty of real-life examples. Gory details are not included, and peoples' privacy & identity are respected. The author does not ask for sympathy (or money!), she just wants the reader to be better able to deal with life . Not all aspects of life here on Earth require "spiritual warfare" every time -- for example, ... Not all aspects of life here on Earth require "spiritual warfare" every time -- for example, looking for a parking spot in a parking lot really just requires basic driving skills, one working eye, & a halfway decent attitude. But all aspects of life can be improved if you'll apply the appropriate lessons discussed in this book. For example, in the search for a parking spot, you can learn [from this book] to be more willing to give a nice spot to someone else, & alert to God's wish that you be available to Him to help someone at any minute of any day -- even when parking your car. Anyone who wants to know God or serve Him better can benefit from this book. You don't have to be a seminary graduate or a counselor or in "full-time ministry" to become more effective at helping others. And I think you'll find that as time goes by you'll need some things in this book that you didn't before; so don't assume you can glean everything from it in one reading. As with "the Screwtape Letters" (by C. S. Lewis), I plan to re-read this book from time to time, to help me stay in line with where I need to be. I had borrowed a copy from a friend, & I realised I was delaying giving it back. That's my best clue that I should get my own copy of something, so I did. I do recommend this book for either private use or for a group -- such as a book club, or church/messianic synagogue Sunday school/shul class . However, try to allow for extra time, both in reading and in discussions & application. Sometimes dealing with evil just takes longer than we'd like (or planned), & we really do need to do it thoroughly. May God, who loves you & wants to see you fluorishing, give you wisdom & joy & freedom !

This is an in depth spiritual warfare manual to bring those serving Satan to know Jesus Christ. This book is very detailed about the Christian faith and how to overcome evil forces. It was first published in 1986 when this subject was controversial.I found it very informative.Dr. Brown tells of her encounter with Elaine who was a practicing witch of seventeen years and the spiritual struggle that they both went though. This is an in depth spiritual warfare manual to bring those serving Satan to know Jesus Christ. This book is very detailed about the Christian faith and how to overcome evil forces. It was first published in 1986 when this subject was controversial.I found it very informative.

Nothing is impossible for God
This is an awesome book. It shows how the power of the Lord is powerful. Through Christ we can do all things. There is not a problem too big or too small for God. This book I can relate to because I had a family member who I loved dearly go through what Rebecca went through and she was delivered and served the Lord for many years. Praise God.

As a work of fiction, this book is good, and could even be passed off as a comedy. However, this book is "true" (cue sniggering). I ask you: This book *claims* that: *Witches are evil *Yoga allows demons to enter you *The only way to keep demons out of us is to eat red meat twice a day * (and I quote): "Anyone who is not serving christ is serving Satan": Roughly, anyone who isn't a Christian is evil. This is the kind of racial/religious predjudice that we are trying to avoid in this modern society. So by all means read this book, but please: think about it. (And then laugh at it.) As for the author herself: She had her medical license revoked for, basically, mistreating patients who ... As a work of fiction, this book is good, and could even be passed off as a comedy. Exceptional reading experience
Exceptionally written. I cried a lot reading what this couple and other hostages had gone through. I thank the Lord Jesus for keeping them faithful til the end. I'm also impressed by Gracia's ability to pray and forgive her captors especially after the death of her husband. It has made me look inside myself to see what my response might have been. Thank you for giving me a chance to read their story.Exceptionally written. I cried a lot reading what this couple and other hostages had gone through.
