    Above average game, worth buying.

    Although it can have many improvements, it is a great product from EA-Maxis, and a fraction of the cost of the competitor city building game Cities XL. It has a great road system with many choices of roads and transportation, and a variety of reward building and landmarks, however, there are many bugs, one for example, in the transportation network. It will collapse in large cities (even when it shouldn't happen). SimCity Societies is a great game. While it has the purpose to create a successful city that the people will like, it heavily focuses on social engineering and the city's impact on the citizens' behaviors, which I like. This product is worth buying. Overall, I rate The SimCity Box a 4/5.

    awesome product and a big bang for the buck, you can't go wrong

    love all the sim games and this one was a great deal getting 5 games for less than the price of one! can't wait for the new simcity to com out, the preview videos look awesome. i love building cities and i never use any codes or cheats because i want to play this game on my own without cheating or help. heck that is part of the fun in playing these types of games. very happy with this box set.

    The SimCity Box - An Average Selection

    I mostly got this for SimCity 4 and its expansion pack (the original SimCity 4 isn't compatible with Vista). I heard a ton of bad reviews for SimCity Societies, but I liked it ok. Just start playing Societies thinking it is a different game (which it is) and you will still have fun playing it! Overall, I wouldn't have paid the $30-$40 for the SimCity Box at the store, but if you can pick it up for cheaper, than go for it! I am a huge SimCity fan, so this was a real treat for me. If you enjoy SimCity and don't already have SimCity 4, then you should get this game collection. Also, it says in the system requirements that SimCity Societies needs a 128mb video card to work. I am only using a Geforce Go 6150 and it works perfectly! Hope this helps someone in their decision.

    SimCity Box Game

    Product is fun. Installation is a little tricky. I was installing on Vista and for some reason it does not add any quick start icons for launch and you have to manually create them after installation which was a bit tedious. Other than that the game works well and the kids love it (age 7-9).

    An exciting challenge

    A very challenging game that can be quite addictive. Lots to do and explore. Graphics are ok. There's not a whole lot on 'lessons' so most of it is figuring out what to do....which makes it interesting. Fun Game.
