Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen für dieses Angebot
DEFINITIONS: 'The Company' means L&S Engineers Limited
 
PRICES: The Company reserves the right to amend prices and terms without prior notice, although every effort will be made to maintain prices as stated. Goods will be invoiced at prices in effect at the date of delivery. Prices are exclusive of VAT at the current rate unless expressly stated to be VAT inclusive or VAT exempt.
 
1. PAYMENT: All credit accounts are to be paid to the Company at L&S Engineers, Coppice Side Industrial Estate, West Coppice Road, Brownhills, WS8 7HB.
 
2. Invoices are dated with the date of despatch. Payment is to be received within the terms stated on the invoice. Any Invoices for which payment has not been received within the terms stated on the Invoice will be deemed to be overdue and will be subject to interest charges.
 
3. The Company reserves the right to charge interest on accounts outstanding beyond the time specified in this condition, the rate of interest will be charged at 1.5% per month above the base lending rate of the HSBC bank.
 
4. DELIVERY: To destinations in the United Kingdom goods over the value of that agreed in the client trading contract (excluding VAT) will be consigned with carriage paid but at the customer’s risk and by an approved courier. If other arrangements are made on the customer’s instructions any additional costs will be payable by the customer. The company reserves the right to add a surcharge to cover the cost of handling, packing and carriage/postage which will be added to Invoices for goods which (excluding VAT) amount to less than the agreed carriage paid amount.
 
5. Goods delivered to a third party, by the request of the customer, remain the risk of the customer.
 
6. RETURNS: All products returned must be complete and contain all original manufacturer packaging including packing materials, all manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories and any other documentation included with the original shipment.
 
If you receive damaged merchandise, it is preferable to refuse delivery from the carrier attempting delivery. If you accept the package, you must make sure it is noted on the carrier's delivery records in order to file a damage claim from The Company. You must notify The Company of damaged goods within 24 hours of delivery, our regular return policy will override any claim of damage. Defective returns can be accepted within 15 days on receipt of the package for refund or replacement. If we have sent you an incorrect product, we will exchange it or provide a full refund.
 
Non defective returns will be accepted within 15 days of receipt of the package on condition that original shipping charges of all non defective returns will be non-refundable.
 
7. If the package is refused by the customer without any reason, the customer shall be responsible for the return shipping charges, plus a 15% restocking charge.
 
8. RETENTION OF TITLE: Whether or not the risk in goods shall have passed to the Customer, the property in the goods sold shall be and remain the Company until the Company has received payment in full for them, together with payment in full for any goods supplied by the Company to the customer the price for which is overdue for payment. Pending receipt by the Company of such payments, the customer shall hold the goods for the Company representative. All goods supplied in the hands of the buyer will remain the property of the seller until all the outstanding debt to the seller is paid.
 
9. CANCELLATION: Every effort will be made to carry out the contract, but its due performance is subject to cancellation by the Company, or to such variation as it finds necessary as a result of any Act of God, War, Strike, Lockout, or any other Dispute, Flood, Fire, Drought, Legislation, or other causes (whether of the foregoing class, or not) beyond the Company's control. No responsibility is accepted by the Company for late deliveries.
 
10. JURISDICTION: The construction, validity and performance of this contract shall be governed by the Laws of England and any legal proceedings in relation to such contract shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the English Courts without prejudice to the Company's right to bring any such proceedings before the courts have jurisdiction in the place of residence and business.
 
11. WEB ORDERING: By completing and submitting a order request on our website (or proceeding through the 'checkout process') you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract at the point of delivery of goods. Neither submitting an electronic order form or completing the checkout process constitutes our acceptance of your order. In the case of pricing errors or the non-availability of advertised products,The Company reserves the right to cancel your order and refund you.

    Good quality box spanner.

    I like to use the basin waste washer kit to avoid the need for plumbers mate or mastic. But it is hard to tighten the nut far enough to squash the donut washer without this box spanner to provide the required grip and torque. Tookabout 10 minutes to fit once I had this in my hands. I also bought a brass washer and the spanner fit perfectly. It was a bit small for the original plastic washer though. It is a little on the heavy side but well made and great to have in the toolbox.

    Quality tool - does the job on a correctly-sized backnut

    This is a box spanner that has one end for 50mm A/F nuts and the other end for 46mm A/F nuts. That's what it does. Those reviewers complaining that it's too small are clearly not aware that it's designed to fit nuts that are either 50mm or 46mm across the flats. A BRASS backnut for a 32mm waste is usually 46 or 50mm across flats, and this is perfect for them. If you have a PLASTIC backnut it is likely to be bigger than 50mm A/F (the one I had was 51.9mm A/F). I suspect that manufacturers make the plastic backnuts a bit chunkier to give them strength, so if you have a plastic backnut you do have to file it down a bit to get it to fit the box spanner before fitting it. Takes about 2 mins to do - file the plastic nut, not the box spanner... Inconvenient, but it's not the box spanner's ...

    The box spanner is well made however was not 50mm as stated so was too smalll for the basin waste nuts I wanted to use it on

    With the box spanner being to small and time pressing to install 3 basin wastes by the weekend I had to resort to filing all the insides of the box spanner and outsides of the 3 basin waste nuts. This enabled me to get the spanner on the nut. The spanner was required due to the limited access to the nut and need to compress the rubber seal of the base mate ensuring a leak free basin waste. I did request comments or refund form the supplier but because I had used the spanner/ filed it, they were not interested

    THE BOX SPANNER: A MUST FOR EVERY TOOLBOX!!

    This tool was a tremendous boon when I had to take out the waste plug. In a basin. The tool was made of heavyweight metal, not a toy. Value for money as the 50mm nut was determined not to be moved. The Monument Tool soon sorted a good result for me. Service good, delivery also. Best £9 ever spent.

    Bit Big to be very useful..

    Bit disappointed really, listed as waste nut spanner but! as yet will not fit any nut that it has been tried on, to date 5... 1.1/4" wastes, 46mm end is to big for all 5, in fairness might fit older wastes but manufacturers seem to be producing cheaper items and reducing the size of the nuts...thought it would fit one basin waste but spanner was to big to fit in space so ground off the corners (which stopped me returning it) and then found it was still to big and just went round on the nut...50mm end might be useful but unsure, still a good spanner and addition to a tool kit...but needs thinking about before buying...DA,
