When placing an order with AIM Tools, it will be bound by the the following terms and conditions:
 
1.Ordering
AIM Tools makes every effort to provide full and accurate information on its listings of all goods offered for sale. The information is the same as that given to us by the manufacturer.

On receipt of payment, AIM Tools will automatically send you a VAT invoice by e-mail.
 
2.Shipping Cost
For most items, the shipping cost is indicated on the listing. However, for some locations, and for certain type of items (such as heavy/bulky items), we reserve the right to request an additional shipping surcharge.
Notably, any orders to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Norway, Malta, Cyprus, Canary Islands and French Overseas Territories, are subject to an additional surcharge.
International Buyers – Please Note:
Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
Items sent to the Scottish Highlands and the Channel Islands are also subject to an additional surcharge for items over 20kg.
Items above 30kgs to all destinations may also be subject additional charges.
 
3.VAT
Prices quoted are Inclusive of VAT.
If you are a European business, we are unable to deduct the VAT even if you are a VAT registered company.
 
4.Payment
All of our goods are offered to you on an immediate payment basis. Your payment is due to us before we dispatch your goods and we accept Paypal and most credit/debit cards.
 
5.Delivery
Postage listed in Ebay maybe limited to specific geographic location within UK,Europe etc. For example, we may not able to deliver certain products to remoted areas in UK like Jersey, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland unless extra postage is paid. Countries like Greece, Cyprus, Norway, Iceland etc will also need extra charges . You will be contacted by our customer service team if you need to pay extra postage to deliver the products or refund the order.
Our standard delivery is handled by national carrier and in most cases you will receive your goods within estimated time listed in Ebay.
We will do all that we can to meet the date given for delivery. Please note that unless otherwise stated, delivery estimates are only estimates; they are not guaranteed delivery times and should not be relied upon as such.
 
6.Availability
We aim to keep sufficient stock levels on hand. However, at times of unexpected high demand we may unfortunately run out of particular items. You will be contacted for cancellation and full refund or delay dispatch according to your preference.
 
 
8.Order Change Or Cancellation
We are able to change, cancel and refund your order before processing upon email request only. Notes on order will not be accepted.
However, these requests will not be successful once your order is processed by our team even your order status show as undispatched. You can follow our return process through eBay if you wish to return the goods for full refund. Return postage will be on your account.
 
9. 30 Days Refund
We will refund or offer an exchange within 30 days of your purchase, provided the product is unused and in its original packaging. You must take reasonable care to ensure that the returning products are properly packed, so it will not be damaged in the transit. You will be responsible for the cost of returning. We recommend that you use a recorded delivery service when returning the products.
 
10. 12 Month Guarantee
Within 12 month period of placing the order, you may return the item to us for repair or replacement. If upon inspection it is determined the fault is due to misuse or wear and tear, this will not be covered by the guarantee, and you will be liable to repair cost or replacement parts, as well as shipping costs

    But a little effort in and its great

    If you strip it down (very easy) and clean all the swarf and grease which is full of metal filings (not good) smooth the edges of any moving parts and clean regrease you end up with a nice bit of kit! There is a little wiggle side to side but small. In all good!! Put a little effort to make it a lot better

    80mm rotation vice for milling

    This vice is well made its vertical alignment is to within 0.05mm tolerance which is more than acceptable for price. the rotation seems smooth but the protractor marking and lake of zero register make it difficult to set up angles. the only fault was that the vice winding arm was of inferior manufacture and fell off prior to use but the supplier made a £5.00 refund and a home repair was effected.

    75mm machine vice

    The machine vice was delivered on time and in good condition. It was heavy and well made, the swivel base was free moving and came with 2 guides which would enable the vice to be set to the table and moved up and down the bed without too much tramming etc to to maintain truth. all in all, a good investment which should last last a long time.

    Ok vice for home machinist

    Generally an ok vice for the money but like a lot of Chinese engineering expect a little fettling and finishing on your part to correct for lack of attention to detail in manufacturing. Let's face it there's a reason why this stuff is cheap! On this particular vice the casting on the handle was unfinished and didn't fit the flats and needed a lot of filing. The degree indicator reference was missing and the vice had a distinct tight spot. Again rectified by myself. In terms of accuracy the vice is within most home machinists tolerances and all in all for the budget aware user this represents good value

    80mm Machine Vice.

    This vice is an idea size for a bench top milling machine, similar to the Clarke CDM300. It is very accurate. Hold the work piece well. The vice can be detached from the base and clamped directly to the machine table giving extra height under the milling cutter or drill. Great purchase, great quality at a reasonable price.
