dangerous coil connections, poor mounting hardware & non existent mounting instructions .
Works as advertised Overall this is an excellent product, well made with a hot spark. However there's major installation deficiencies I want to report: #1Amazingly,THE UN INSULATED, CHEAPLY MADE GENERIC COIL connections arc all over the place, are dangerous and I put big blobs of Polyurethane roofing caulk over both terminals hopefully to mitigate the danger. #2 NONE of the hardware included comes with instructions. As a consequence I could only surmise I what the 4 rubber bumpers were for other than to put behind the unit before mounting it. But that's impossible because a non-self taping threaded stud sticks out of one side of the rubber bumper and there is a threaded hole in the other end with no studs or screws that thread into that. My best guess was that since there are 4 of ... Works as advertised Overall this is an excellent product, well made with a hot spark. My best guess was that since there are 4 of the bumper and there are 4 mount holes in the unit, that they were bumpers and in order to use them I'd have to drill more holes in my driver side inner fender shell where the Ford module was located and lay out the module holes on the inner fender well and drill them, remove the plastic inner fender tire mud guard on the driver side so could MAYBE reach way up into the very narrow confines on the back side of the inner fender and blindly nut and washer the threads sticking through. Then I'd have to go to a hardware store and purchase the proper screws to screw the module onto the bumpers. Instead, I threw the garbage in the trash and made my own rubber bumpers out of small hose filled with polyurethane caulk, removed the grommets from the module's holes so my self tapping hex-head screws would fit in the holes and screwed the module to the fender well. The nearest I can figure, the supplied Rubber Bumpers were for Baby Buggies, or perhaps for use in another undisclosed vehicle, the owner of which would instantly recognize and no what to do without, instructions making it easy to install

Plug n play
Easy and simple to use and everything needed was supplied and then some. Read a lot of tech articles about the tachometer hook up but I just put the gray wire to the tach feed off the distributor cap and it came to life as soon as the key was turned. Car started immediately, warmed up and ran like it was all installed at the factory.

great product for a basic no frills hot rod or just a performance auto.easy to dial in rev. limiter, simple wiring, so it is almost a plug and play product. can't go wrong if old school ignition is what you are looking for.
