Io Non Ho Paura is one of the best Italian movies I've ever watched. It shows the innocence and courage of a 10 year old boy in Italian country. Michele finds another child of his own age in trouble and despair and decides to help him. Despite his own life being threatened he decides to do his best to try to save the other boy's life. This beautiful story of child compassion towards another goes to show some of childrens' emotional capabilities even when thrown in the midst of corruption and evil. This film demonstrates that sometimes children can teach greed driven adults a thing or two about kindness and what is right and sometimes even how to forgive. The only regret is that Giuseppe Cristiano (Michele) hasn't appeared in any more films displaying his wonderful acting capabilities as in I'm Not Scared.Vollständige Rezension lesen
If you are an English speaker learning Italian, this is an excellent movie to watch. It's a good story. It has lots of dialogue by kids, which make understanding easier. It's go the English subtitles, too.
I bought this expecting to be scared.I din't find it scary at all. It is recorded in Italian with English subtitles. I do not like subtitles as it detracts from watching the movie. To me it was a Mafia movie. There was only one scary scene and it had a nice ending. The whole movie was nothing like I expected. Definately no way like Children of the Corn.
This is an European thriller as opposed to an American thriller: much deeper and better than your typical American thriller. Photography excellent acting excellent story lnvollving.
