Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter is a side-scrolling action game in which players design and draw their own platform-hopping heroes, using the Wii Remote. As in the original Nintendo DS Drawn to Life game, players create their character by drawing an outline, adding color, and using guidelines to mark off the arms, legs, torso, and head, so that the hero may be properly animated in action. In The Next Chapter, players can also add game-world objects by drawing them directly on the screen, creating ramps and trampolines to help characters on their way (as in the Nintendo DS game, Kirby: Canvas Curse). To equip their heroes for the game's many challenges, players can design and draw more than 100 useful objects, as well, including weapons, vehicles, and tools.<br><br>A stifling shadow has fallen over the village of the good Raposa people, and in order to free them from the darkness, a brave hero must travel the world to find the Artifacts of Power. In order to meet this challenge, heroes must jump and puzzle their way through multiple environments, including a dangerous jungle, a land above the clouds, and a city of shadows. In addition to the story-driven single-player campaign, Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter's multiplayer modes feature sports-inspired mini-games, in which players can create their own teammates, and draw custom soccer, hockey, and basketball equipment for them to use in competition.

Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii, 2009)
Neat game. You can literally drawn certain things in the game and they become part of the game, including the main character. Adventure game that becomes more difficult as you go along. I've found my 5 and 6 year old need help on the second level, mainly jumping over and across certain things. Two things I don't like: 1)the pallete they use to paint with have colors that are very close together and can become frustrating because the remote is sensitive so you can continually pick the colors you don't want and have to go back and change colors; 2)the way the main character loses "power", he loses his colors you painted on his outfit until he looks like a walking corpse, literally. He's small but his entire body is brown with no detail (eyes, mouth, hair) so it looks strange to me. My ... Neat game. I guess imagine a potato running around with potato arms and legs. Pretty much how he looks after he loses his colors. Neat adventure, goes into houses and trees with doors. Lots of jumping and it must be mastered as the game goes on. Characters in game are kid-friendly so far, haven't advanced much though, we'll see.

I used to have this game for the ds, meanwhile not the exact same game. It’s a great nostalgic game. Plays well, reads right away

Fun way to kill time-even for a college kid :)
I am a 22 year old kid at heart, and so far I am enjoying this game :) the only downsides I really have stumbled across thus far have been the loading time (the game has to load every time you go to an easel to draw and when returning from the easel)and also the difficulty. For me it is not bad, but I have to wonder if a child could do this without help. I guess that is another opportunity for some parent/child bonding, though! Drawn to Life : the Next chapter
My children love this game they can draw what they want things to look like. The game has diffent levels , or areas that must be unlocked and each area that you complet, you gaine objects that inhance the game play. This is a game for everyone. My children are 12, and 13 this age is hard to satisfy . So for them to enjoy this game and play it for hours at a time. It's a good game!
