Outstanding purchase. The delivery man went through the spec bit by bit. Straight forward and if you drive a car the controls are similar. I suffer with MS. On those days that you require a little more help it keeps me independent and keep moving on. Everyday is different. Thanks again green-power.

so easy to use ever for a 90 year old
when the call came to let us know the date and time we were over the moon. from there in every thing was wonderful, the chap that turned up, was on time was more then helpful showing us every thing and was happy to answer all questions. he made every thing easy for my father who is 90.

This scooter is dangerous when amongst pedestrians as it is not as responsive as normal mobility scooters. This scooter does not have a very good turning circle. When you are amongst pedestrians you need the scooter to move as you start to accelerate not hear the motor start and wait for it to catch up with a jerk forward or backward, not safe at all. When I made these points out to the green-power company all I was sent was a list of requirements for mobility scooters and an explanation that the scooter was built with quality products but that still does not make a safe scooter. While I am mentioning quality of what was supplied, I took out the rain cover, it is a thin sheet of polythene that has not even been cut straight and does not cover the scooter as shown in the illustration. ... Needless to say I am very upset with my purchase. As I am a severely disabled person I need a responsive scooter not one that makes its own mind up when it is going to move. One thing that I will say is that if you are travelling in a straight line it is a comfortable ride.

A lot for your money
With the larger wheels & suspension it’s great going over rough ground. Can go quicker... 25 mph !! It really is super dooper. Feels so much safer & is very comfortable. Great for shopping too, has a basket at the back with wet proof bag & a lockable space under the seat. Fabulous value & highly recommend this mobility scooter.

Small price, high achiever, massive capability scooter
I have owned my scooter for almost three years now. At the time of purchase, it came with an 850w motor so I cannot comment on the 600w version. In almost 3 years and constant use both in the town and on rural footpaths, it hasn't let me down. The batteries have only just been changed and even then, I didn't really need to, I only did because I wanted to ensure my scooter is in top running order. I've just repaired a brake calliper that jammed too, and that was not an arduous task. The machine has seen some fairly harsh abuse - I scuffed a fender on a low overhang, I have cracked a couple of panels without detriment to the scooter's operation and as a landscape & derelict achitecture photographer, I have been on some very rough pathways. The JH500 so far has taken it all in its ... I have owned my scooter for almost three years now. At the time of purchase, it came with an 850w motor so I cannot comment on the 600w version. The JH500 so far has taken it all in its stride without a murmer. The machine is advertised as running up to 45 miles on a full charge. I haven't tested that, but 32 miles is definitely achievable (with another 24% battery charge still showing at the end of that particular run). What would I change about it? Maybe thicker treaded tyres for those muddy footpaths, a better carrier box for my equipment and about another 2cm of clearance. What don't I like? Only the fact that to do some otherwise simple tasks, half the plastic bodywork needs to be removed. Would I have another? At the price they're selling at, I'd have one without a second thought. The only equivalent semi off-road machine that is suited to my personal needs costs almost £15k, so to have something capable like the JH500 at less than 10% is a definite win for me. Given that most people will use the JH500 for local use, they'd be crazy not to consider this machine over its more expensive competitors as it will easily overcome city, town and country roads and pathways.
