Hachi - a dog's tale
This is a super film that touches the heart. It is a story of such commitment and undying love when a music professor is picked out by a very intelligent Japanese dog called Hachi. The relationship they form and the bond that is evident throughout their lives together is amazing. THe intelligence of the dog is unquestionable. It will move you to tears because the dog demonstrates absolute commitment to the professor. The only really sad thing is that his family do not appear to share the professor's love and friendship. A very moving film that cannot fail to impart a huge impact on those that watch it. And it is a true story.This is a super film that touches the heart. Still tearjerking
My son watched this with us a few years ago and he loved it so much that I got it for him for Christmas last year. It is so sad and touching as it is based on a true story. As an animal lover it is a sure thing for an enjoyable evening but get the tissues out!

One of the best films I've ever seen!
Quite a few people have recommended this film to me so I bought it to see what all the fuss was about. I absolutely loved every second of this film and didn't take my eyes off it once. It really captures the unbreakable bond between a human and his best friend. This film had me in tears from start to finish and I also have an akita so when the film ended it made me love her even more and couldn't stop cuddling her because she's got so many traits that Hachi has! Beautiful heart warming story!Quite a few people have recommended this film to me so I bought it to see what all the fuss was about. Beautiful and very moving film.
It’s a truly beautiful film and very moving. I was crying at the end which was a huge healing for me because as a child and teen I repressed my emotion’s. Well worth getting it - top marks. God bless. Ps please watch the warning or illumination of conscience by Christine Watkins. Following padre Pio. In the footsteps of padre Pio. The Papacy can NOT be destroyed. Don’t call protestant’s Christian! And the latest excellent video from Queen of Peace media. Please watch it so you won’t be caught out when this phenomenal worldwide event happens very soon!!! Hachi..beautiful family film.
Loved this film, based on a true story. Richard Gere is brilliant Professor who finds this beautiful puppy at train station. The relationship between him and Hachi is so heartwarming. Loved this film, any dog lover will absolutely love the story and loyalty of Hachi...
