I recieved these after waiting quite a while for them to arrive, due the them being shipped via registered mail. Upon recieving them though I was pleased with the bass, but not the mids or treble. People who say that they are sort of muffled are right. They're nothing below HA-MR77X level, but not any better at all. I've bought some JVC HA-FX40 earbuds and they literally give you 98% of the bass that these do at an etch less than 10% of the price. They're not as comfortable though so these have the benefit of being cans instead of buds. Anyway: These have the kind of bass you'd expect, but they aren't thaaaat much better than really anything out there that's bass-centric for even $50.

I was looking for headphones with great bass and I found these. The price wasn't bad so I placed the order. When I first played some music with these I wasn't impressed. The bass was way too loud compared to other frequencies and the headphones were really uncomfortable on my head. But when I was reading other reviews about these headphones before I bought these, most of them said that equalizer was a must. I have a Xonar DG soundcard which comes with a great driver control panel, including an equalizer. I set up the frequencies to my liking and I managed to perfect the sound. The bass is amazing and the other frequencies are not bad either. The headphones are still pretty uncomfortable but just like every other headphones, these will loosen with time. I miss the incredible comfort of my Sennheiser HD 429 but the bass is still incredibly good, which is exactly what I wanted.Vollständige Rezension lesen

An amplifier + bass boost is highly advised! Pretty precise cans with unusually low sound coloration. Really powerful sub bass output.
