Good sound and easy to install at a good price.
Used in a 60's Chrysler because I could fit them under the dash using existing screw holes. My only complaint is the knobs are easy to over-tighten, so I used double-sided trim tape for additional holding power to avoid rattles. Sound and power is nice, but the mini-usb player I am using has no bass/treble control, so I am a long way from optimizing them. Knowing what I know now, I would consider a size smaller, since it has more than enough power.Used in a 60's Chrysler because I could fit them under the dash using existing screw holes. I installed these in a noisy old truck where connoisseur quality is not required and they did the job. The boxes have a noticeable resonance frequency, that is, a pitch which is louder than other pitches which makes an unbalanced range. This can be rectified, if you have an equalizer installed. Gone are the days when my stereo cost more than the car. My package included two bundles of wire, that I did not use. Yes, they are loud, even from a cheap radio. Overall nice little speaker for the price!
I bought these because I needed something small to sit under my front seats in my 71 Monte Carlo and wasn't expecting much because of the price, however they feel well built and of decent quality and they sound good for what they are. Now I wouldn't be throwing 200 hundred watts at them as you'll soon be replacing them as they in no way can handle that power 25-30 maybe but thats not why I bought them. I just needed some small speakers to give me some sound up front in my car and these work perfectly for just that and will probably never see 20 watts ever let alone 200. If all you're needing is something like what I needed them for or something you can mount outside on your deck or pool house these will work just fine and I highly recommend them as you can't beat the price nor the quality ... surprising sound from a small package
small speakers with large sound. I've looked for speakers to put in my classic car for over 6 months, these are the perfect size to hide and still have a great sound.
