    Love in the Time of Cholera Gabriel Garcia Marquez

    Our book club choose this book and members were really mixed in their feelings. Few were neutral, but I, personally, loved the book. It took time for me to get into the story, but once I did, I loved the characters and the language of the book. The three main characters were so very well drawn and the author's understanding of love in all its phases at all different ages was wonderful. There were many paragraphs that I highlighted to discuss with the group, and we had great fun with all the symbolism of the images, colors, animals, smells, and birds through out the book. Love as a sickness with the same symptoms of cholera was fun to trace. It's just a beautifully written story of three very unusual people. Well worth the time.     Amazing story. I really love this book and a great value for money.

    This is the most gorgeous book I've ever read, it's an interesting story that you might thoroughly loved it. Readers looking for more than just a good book will be well satisfied. This book was originally written in Spanish, and was probably a wonderfully crafted piece of literature in the author's native language.

    excitment, passion and growth of feelings.

    This author is excellent to take our imagination to right place and scene of love, lust, deception, hope, laughs and evolution of time and place. If you are after romance, innocence and adventure this is the book for you.
