Product Information

Max Fleischer's sensual 1930s cartoon character makes her DS debut as the new owner of a rundown restaurant named Betty's Diner. The gameplay is closely patterned after titles like Diner Dash, where players race to take orders, serve food, accommodate guests, and clean tables. The better the service, the better the tips, which can be used to upgrade the restaurant and attract higher-paying clientele. Players will encounter seven customer types in total, each offering distinct attitudes and preferences to manage. Games are divided into timed shifts, with players able to bus tables and boop-oop-a-doop until closing time.

    Great Game with a Moderate Level of Difficulty

    I bought this game because I like the "Dinner Dash" games. It is very similar. On the one hand the game is great for my daughter who is aged 10 as it is much easier to get through all the levels versus the "Dinner Dash" games. However, it is more limited in variety. There is not as many restaurants, only serving milkshakes and candy and I was able to complete all the levels in about 2 1/2 hours and I would say I am an average skilled player. However, as I said, it is nice that I know my daughter will be able to play this game and get through it all on her own with moderate difficulty.

    Betty Boop

    Betty Boop Double Shift is a simple, yet enjoyable game. Unfortunately I was able to beat the game within just a few hours. As a waitress in my past it was fun remembering how to manuever around customers. I passed the game onto my kids who have a great time challenging one another.

    Cute game

    I love anything Betty Boop and this DS game was the perfect little item to add to my collection. The game itself is similar to Diner Dash on Pogo only it's a lot easier (my 6 year old daughter plays it).

    Betty Boop Double Shift (Nintendo DS)

    This game is simple for the novice gamer. Simple doesn't mean dull, either. I have been playing this game for the past few days and it is hard to put down. I have reached a standstill and need to figure out how to acheive a higher score. I am a middle-age lady that occassionaly plays.

    betty boop double shift ds game

    I love Betty Boop, so I was delighted to find a game of her. It is fun and challenging to play. The graphics are nice and clear. I just started getting into DS games and this one is by far my favorite!!! I would recommend it to anyone.
