    HI Res display and hub - great for the later laptops with only 2 ports

    Hi Res LCD 2560x1440 Wide quad Hi Definition With the additional interfaces at rear it can also be used as a hub with the 3 usb-a ports one thunderbolt2 port one ethernet port and one firewire800 port. It also has a magsafe1 charger for easier laptops and comes with an adaptor for the larger magsafe 2 connection. If using with later usb-c/thunderbolt3 ports you will need an Apple adaptor. Does not work with similar looking mini display connectors which can send images to the display but do not receive data, which will not allow the display ports listed above to work. I am using it with the latest intel Mac Mini running Big Sur OS with perfect results. In the photo you can a microphone and an SSD connected.

    27” Thunderbolt Display

    ...a great display - functionally and aesthetically! A design icon that works really well with my MacBook Pro using Apples thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adapter. Obviously resolution is not as good as today’s high end monitors but still amazing given the design and engineering is over decade old. On many levels I’m really please with my purchase.

    A Great Monitor For Any Mac User

    Fantastic screen for any Mac with Thunderbolt ports. Plus, it provides power that can be used to charge a MacBook (even one with USB-C port, with a suitable adaptor). The only downside is that the glass finish is reflective, so any windows or other light sources behind you can be a distraction.

    Super quality screen

    While this is an old display, it is still the benchmark of quality for people who need a screen that reflects vibrant colors and is very easy on the eye. An affordable display of choice for graphic designers.

    Thunderbolt Display

    Great way to boost MacBook Pro, into a desktop. Great picture and sound, looks tidy and charge point for laptop great. Shame I can’t use my work windows laptop with it through usb c thunderbolt port
