Great Product
Excellent stuff. Despite what the "experts" would have you think.That is you have to go to a specialist to refurb diamond cut wheels, you can do an excellent job yourself. I rubbed down two 18" diamond cut wheels using a rotary disc on a drill to get down to the metal and then finished off with various grades of wet and dry up to 600 grit. If you want perfection, you can go a lot further with wet and dry and eventually achieve a mirror finish but all I was after was a reasonable finish. I then applied 6 very thin coats of the lacquer. It was very easy to apply, dries fast and it goes a long way. I have only used about half to 3/4 of 1 can. No idea how long the lacquer will last before it chips but I am very happy with the end result and would definitely recommend this product..Excellent stuff. Excellent product
Have used this before and found it gives a good gloss finish and tough. I have bought extra clear coat as I intend to give the wheels a gentle rub down with 2000 grit before adding another couple of clear coats. Having already done the small repairs and painting with e-tech primer and then silver, which is also excellent on both coverage and colour, I did a couple of clear coats which I have now left for a week. Giving the car a quick wash, the dirt just fell off, so im convinced that after the final rub down and a final clear spray, my wheels will look great for years to come. The only thing that will damage them again is if the wife drives it, and scrapes them as she did last time! Quality finish to wheels
After painting my wheels and flatting them down I applied 5 coats of this lacquer to each. Achieved a really good final finish. The lacquer was very easy to apply and dried quickly to allow the next coat to be applied. Hopefully this will provide a hard long term protective finish. Would definitely recommend.

A quality versatile lacquer
This alloy wheel lacquer is not only brilliant for coating alloy wheel it's great at coating chrome too. In fact just about anything that you require a clear waterproof chip resistant coating on. i recently restored a 1976 Honda 550K which had light rust pitting on certain parts - like the chrome plastic indicators and rear shock absorber springs. They weren't anywhere near bad enough to warrant re-chroming and polished up very well. So I used this E-Tech alloy lacquer to coat them to prevent future pitting issues. It works a treat and lasts well. I also used it on a CB750K I restored nearly 10 years ago and the parts on that still look good. Quality at a reasonable price
Having used several clear lacquers I found this one a very good quality with a perfect fine spray pattern, it will be some time whether my alloy wheels stand up to the harsh English weather. They look great at the moment
