RPG Maker 2 gives players the ability to create entire worlds full of characters, items, monsters, buildings, and plots. Three modes -- beginner, intermediate, and advanced -- allow novices and experienced players to jump into action. Over 200 characters and monsters, 250 objects, and infinite numbers of equipment items, weapons, and abilities are available to players. A sample game from the Dragon Warrior production team is included for play and as a reference. RPG Maker 2 supports PlayStation 2 USB Keyboards, which makes scripting much easier for users. Additional options allow importing digital images, controlling the camera system, environmental effects, sound effect modification, and an assortment of texturing and terrain tools.

Rpg Maker 2:Hard But FUN!
Ok now I didn't buy this game yet but I had it for 4 months. Now before I begin if you don't have a lot of patients or are into designing games just stop reading this now and get on with your life. Now rpg maker 2 is a very complex and hard game to use and is one of very few games that REQUIRES you to read the manuel! So don't buy it if it dosn't come wiht it. Now once you are get use to this game you will begin having fun now the 5 generes best suited to make with this game is: Horror, Strategie, Racing, farm sim , and sidescrolling/platformer. Now this game is so custimizable that the sky is truly the limit (other than the limited memeory you get but its still enough to make a huge and masive game.) anyway you can fit over 200 items on a single map! Like making a game menu, here is something rare in a rpg maker you can use the textures to make the game ancient, midevil, modern, or futreistic! Now that is rare in a rpg maker trust me not very many rpg makers allow you to make it modern, oh ya and lets not forget the animations sure there already animated but you can use those to your advantage. If you have enough experience you can even change the battle scripts or as most know it as the (CBS) (Custom Battle System) they are EXTREMELY hard to make but worth it. Oh yea you can also put moving cars in the game and use textures to make side walks and streets to and to really bring your city to life set the charaters and cars to move to locations randomly. Well thats about all i'm gonna write I hope all of you who buy it get some experience with it and push it to the limit! If you would like to learn more look for Rpg maker magizine on google.

Bought this item because we are die hard fans of gaming! Long overdue release of an updated version for modern platforms! Multiple 3-D gaming environments! New great improvements to the game playability! Easier to select option items during game play! Numerous possible scenarios! Role playing games provide hours of endless play options! The controller improvements are much better with layout and functionality! Although there is always room for new improvements and/or up-grades...hopefully there will be more! Overall this game is a good value buy!Bought this item because we are die hard fans of gaming! Long overdue release of an updated version for modern platforms! Multiple 3-D gaming environments! work to build your own game
One of the best RPG Makers out there this software is great for building your own game. It's complicated to learn and it will take several weeks to create a playable game but if you stick with it you can make something fun and unique. You will most definitely need a usb keyboard if your going to get anything done. If you are serious about creating a good game you should probably think about getting the Prima Strategy guide because it explains a lot of the stuff you wont understand.One of the best RPG Makers out there this software is great for building your own game.
